Xavier Edwards went 1-for-4 with two RBI as the Marlins defeated the Nationals 6-2 on Sunday.

Edwards appeared to be breaking out early, as the light-hitting infielder had a .166 ISO through May. Entering Sunday, that mark was just .036 since June 1. His stolen-base attempt rate has also fallen for the second straight season. He swiped 31 bases in a half-season in 2024, but he was down to 27 last year and sits at 19 in 2026 with five weeks to go.

Ramón Urías hit a two-run homer and walked against his former team as the Cardinals topped the Orioles 7-5 on Thursday.

Urías just returned Sunday from missing 3 1/2 months with an elbow injury, so the homer off Trevor Rogers today was his first since Apr. 6. Masyn Winn’s injury has gotten Urías a little more playing time than expected this week, and he’ll be due even more if Blaze Jordan is forced to the IL after getting hurt today.
