Shea Langeliers (knee) has started a hitting progression.

Langeliers underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee last month, which was believed to be a season-ending procedure. It sounds like there’s a small chance that Langeliers could make it back before the end of the year, but that would likely only be for a handful of games in late September, if at all. The positive news for fantasy managers is that he should have a normal offseason and be ready for the start of spring training.
Pages heads to IL, no longer fantasy relevant
Eric Samulski gives the latest on Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages as he was placed on IL and will no longer be relevant for fantasy managers as he is expected to be out most of the remainder of the regular season.

Twins manager Derek Shelton said Joe Ryan (glute) will face hitters in a live batting practice session on Wednesday.

Ryan remains without a definitive return timeline, but Shelton added that he’ll require a rehab assignment before returning to Minnesota’s rotation. The 30-year-old ace has been out with a glute strain that put him on the injured list earlier this month. It sounds like there’s optimism he’ll make it back at some point in September.
