Luis Rengifo diagnosed with torn ACL in knee

Muncy hit the first of four homer off Logan Gilbert; all in the third inning. The 24-year-old has homered eight times with a less-than-ideal .224/.293/.384 slash, but it’s worth noting that he’s still just 24, and there have been some good moments for the former first-round selection.

Raleigh drew a walk as well, and scored three runs. He torched a homer off Kade Morris to tie the game at 5-5 in the third inning, and it’s the 21st roundtripper of the season for the backstop. There’s nothing that he can do to call this a quality season over the final three weeks, but this is still nice to see for those who are considering using a draft pick on Raleigh in 2027.

Gelof has homered in three-straight games, and he hit the fourth and final homer of the third inning off Logan Gilbert to give the A’s a 5-2 lead. His homer was his 17th, and the triple was the second of the 2026 campaign. Gelof has looked the part as of late, and reminded why he was one of the top hitting prospects in baseball not all that long ago.

Harris did issue a walk to Randy Arozarena, but he was able to get through the outing without a run allowed to get his 15th save and see his ERA dip to 3.38.

Morris wasn’t ever likely to go deep enough for a win, but stood even less chance when he gave up a five-spot with two of those runs coming on a homer from Cal Raleigh. The 24-year-old could work in a similar role next week, but obviously there’s no fantasy upside here.

Ten strikeouts is really good. Ten strikeouts and four homers allowed kinda defeats the purpose, and that’s what Gilbert allowed Friday. Even crazier, all four of them came in the fourth inning, with a pair coming from the bottom of the lineup. Coming into the year, the 29-year-old had been excellent in his friendly home surroundings. The 2026 season has seen several clunkers like this as seen in an ERA of 3.99 at home compared to 2.70 away. He’ll try and get back on track against the Rangers in Seattle on Thursday.

It was Tucker’s first homer since August 8, and just the 12th of the season for the 29-year-old. It hasn’t hurt the Dodgers much, but Tucker has been one of the biggest disappointments in baseball in his first season in Los Angeles with a slash of just .226/.327/.359.

Snell threw 100 pitches, and 65 of those landed for strikes. It wasn’t as dominant as his start last weekend against the Tigers when he whiffed 10, but he was just as effective, if not more so. The 33-year-old has been sensational when healthy enough to pitch in 2026, and his ERA is now at a healthy 1.97. Obviously, Snell has to be in fantasy lineups for Wednesday’s scheduled start at home versus the Reds.

Kent gave up three runs in the third and an unearned one in the fourth. The 23-year-old was excellent in his previous outing against the Marlins with seven innings of one-run baseball, but he didn’t face the Marlins in this one. Kent walked four, struck out four and has looked mediocre — at best — thus far in his limited MLB action. He’ll take a 5.55 ERA into a start scheduled for Wednesday against the Padres.

Campusano also singled. The 27-year-old continued his strong campaign at the plate by taking Paul Blackburn deep in the bottom of the 10th to give the Padres a much-needed win in their quest to clinch one of the final postseason berths in the National League. He’s been limited to just 56 games, but in those contests he’s now hit six homers, driven in 25 runs and slashed .283/.364/.465. You can do a heck of a lot worse than that.
