Sean Murphy went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk, four RBI, and two runs scored as the Braves defeated the Nationals 9-0 on Wednesday.
Murphy broke a scoreless tie by swatting a three-run homer in the sixth inning, and he later added another RBI. Drake Baldwin’s status as an everyday player caps Murphy’s upside, but Baldwin has been shifting to DH when Murphy is in the lineup.
