The 35-year-old right-hander hasn’t appeared in the Major Leagues since the 2011 season and posted a 4.75 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 50/28 K/BB ratio over 77 2/3 innings at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season. It’s unclear if he’ll look to continue his career elsewhere, or if this is the end of the line for him.

The 32-year-old infielder was held out of the Mets’ lineup on Thursday after his Achilles injury flared up on him once again during Wednesday’s game. It sounds like they’re going to give him a couple of days to see if it improves, otherwise they’ll sit him down for a bit and make sure he gets right before returning to action.

Schweitzer made one appearance during his brief stay with the big league club, allowing one run on two hits over 1 1/3 innings against the Orioles on Wednesday. He’ll continue working in a multi-inning relief role at Triple-A Charlotte until his services are needed again.

Murphy had been knocked around in six appearances for the Pale Hose — registering a 10.50 ERA and 2.33 WHIP over six innings — and it sounds like the elbow issue may be partly to blame. No word yet from Will Venable and company on how long he’ll be shelved for. Brandon Eisert was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move to take his place in the White Sox’ bullpen.

Eisert, 28, was a fixture in the White Sox’ bullpen throughout the 2025 campaign, registering a 4.39 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and a 74/25 K/BB ratio across 69 2/3 innings in his 72 appearances. He’ll function in a middle relief role.

It’s the first trip to the big leagues for the 26-year-old hurler. Davitt was originally an 18th round selection by the Rays from the 2022 draft class and joined the White Sox in last season’s deadline deal that sent Adrian Houser to the Rays. Davitt holds a miserable 7.88 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and an 11/5 K/BB ratio over eight innings in two starts at Triple-A Charlotte this season. It’s unclear if he’ll take Shane Smith’s spot in the rotation on Sunday or if he’ll function as a long man out of the bullpen. Either way, he can be ignored for fantasy purposes.

Ragans was lifted from Wednesday’s outing against the Guardians after he was hit on the hand by a comebacker. It sounds like he was fortunate to avoid any significant injury though and it sounds like he isn’t going to miss any time. Continue to monitor his status, but it sounds like he’ll be good to go for Tuesday.

No word yet on the severity of the injury or how long he’ll be shelved for, but the Royals will obviously play it cautiously with any sort of elbow injury. Look for additional updates on his status in the coming days following that evaluation.

Kolek has been shelved since early in the spring due to a Grade 1+ oblique strain. Since he didn’t log any game action at all during Cactus League play, expect that he’ll need several minor league rehab starts before he’s ready to help out the Royals in any capacity. With their rotation currently healthy, it’s likely that Kolek would settle into a long relief role once he is deemed ready to return.

It’s the first time that the 33-year-old hurler has thrown from a mound since being shelved on March 29 with a left foot contusion. Given the decline in velocity that Estévez exhibited throughout the spring and to start the regular season, expect that the Royals will want to see him back at his best before he’s activated from the injured list.

He managed a deep enough sacrifice fly against Garrett Acton to get Jake Rogers in during the seventh inning. Torres is hitting .234/.383/.319 through his first 13 games of the season and is a fringe fantasy starter in 12-team leagues at this point due to the lack of stolen-base upside and ho-hum batting average.
