Triantos, 19, also scored a couple of runs in the contest. The 56th pick of last year’s draft is having a so-so first season with the Pelicans, slashing .260/.327/.333 over 96 at-bats. Don’t confuse those numbers with a lack of talent, however. Triantos has a swing that suggests the potential for a plus hit tool, and there’s solid average power in his right-handed bat, as well. This is very much a long-term play, but Triantos could be a starting shortstop someday, and there’s enough offensive upside to suggest fantasy relevance.

Misiorowski gave up one hit, walked none and struck out 12. He improved to 11-4 with the win. Misiorowski took a no-hitter into the fifth inning before he allowed a solo home run to Cole Carrigg with two outs. He threw 83 pitches. Misiorowski lowered his ERA to 1.58 this year. He’s lined up to face the Angels next weekend and his starts are must-watch events at this point.

Vargas’ home run was his 22nd of the season. He hit a two-run shot off Ronel Blanco in the sixth inning. Vargas’ home run was his first since July 10th against the Athletics. Entering play Sunday, he was 9-for-40 (.225) with two RBI and eight strikeouts in his last 10 games. Vargas is hitting .242 with an .832 OPS and 63 RBI this year.

Murakami now has 22 home runs this season. He hit a two-run shot off Ronel Blanco in the first inning and a solo shot off Astros reliever Miguel Ullola in the eighth inning. Murakami’s home run was his first since May 27th against the Twins. Entering play Sunday, he was 8-for-42 (.190) with two RBI, 19 strikeouts and 12 walks in his last 13 games. Murakami’s hitting .239 with a .921 OPS and 48 RBI.

Baz struck out two in the 90-pitch outing. He’s now given up just seven earned runs over his past four starts, but the strikeouts have fluctuated, and he allowed a high WHIP against the Braves on Sunday. Baz has been serviceable in deeper fantasy formats this season, but he hasn’t broken out following the offseason trade to Baltimore. He’s scheduled to pitch at home against the Phillies in his next start.

López allowed five hits and one walk in a no-decision. He was in line for the win before Atlanta’s bullpen squandered the lead and this one headed to extras. The right-hander has a serviceable 3.64 ERA this season and lines up to face the hot-hitting Nationals next time out.

Alonso connected for a solo shot off Dylan Lee in the bottom of the eighth, cutting the deficit to 2-1 at the time. He’s up to 22 homers on the year in his first campaign since signing with the Orioles. Alonso’s wRC+ isn’t as high as the mark he registered hitting alongside Juan Soto last season, but it’s right in line with the two prior seasons. He’s one of the most stable first-base options in fantasy baseball year in and year out.

Wells allowed one walk but worked around it. The righty has three saves in July but only one of the team’s past five. He’s part of a closer-by-committee with Ryan Helsley sidelined. If he starts consolidating ninth-inning chances over the season’s final two months, it would do wonders for his fantasy viability.

Iglesias walked the leadoff hitter before Ozzie Albies committed an error on a potential double play. Jackson Holliday later hit a groundout that tied the game at two. The 36-year-old has bounced back this season with a 2.43 ERA and will remain the locked-in closer.

Peña now has 11 home runs on the season. He hit a pair of solo shots off Erick Fedde with one coming in the first inning and the other coming in the third inning. Peña had been on a power surge lately and now has five home runs in his last six games. He’s hitting .319 with an .877 OPS and 30 RBI.

The big blow was a three-run homer in the seventh that put the Mariners on top 4-3. Randy Arozarena then made it back-to-back blasts. Canzone is batting .260/.332/.512 with 16 homers in 289 plate appearances. He overtook Julio Rodríguez and Luke Raley for the Mariners team lead in homers today.
