Tommy Kahnle came on to close out New York’s 4-2 win over Seattle for his first save of the season.
After retiring Jose Caballero to end the eighth, Michael King walked Julio Rodriguez and gave up an infield single to Ty France. Kahnle came on with one out and two on, induced a sacrifice fly to Jared Kelenic, and struck out Eugenio Suarez. In eight games since returning from injury, Kahnle has allowed just two hits and has a 0.00 ERA. If he stays hot, he could introduce himself higher up the Yankees bullpen pecking order.
