Seymour has a 4.93 ERA and a 41/19 K/BB in 38 1/3 innings this season. He’s in line to start or again pitch in a bulk role against the Nationals on Saturday, but it’s possible the Rays could try something different.

Bachman has emerged as one of the Angels’ most trusted relievers and was working on a streak of 12 straight scoreless appearances before giving up his third and fourth homers of the season today. It seems like a setback for his chances of earning saves and probably gives Kirby Yates’ scant fantasy value a little boost.

Williamson hit a ball 394 feet off Drew Pometanz in the fourth for his second major league homer. He had one in 295 plate appearances with Seattle last season, and now he has one in 167 plate appearances this year. But while power obviously isn’t Williamson’s game, his OBP is a solid .331. His defense hasn’t graded out as highly as expected, but the Rays have had him start eight of their last 11 games: four at shortstop and four at second base.

Walton’s solo shot off Ian Seymour came in his 57th plate appearance for the Angels. Playing about half of the time against right-handers, he’s hit .296/.333/.426 since being called up on May 22. He now has five homers in 272 career plate appearance since debuting with the Mariners in 2019.

Meckler’s exit was deemed “precautionary” after he hit his head while trying to track down a Ben Williamson homer The 26-year-old should be considered day-to-day with a decent chance to return early in the week for Los Angeles.

Fischer was the Brewers’ first-round pick out of Tennessee last year, and he’s hit .298 average with 20 homers in his time with High-A Wisconsin. The 22-year-old’s power is impressive, and while it’s most likely not going to be in the majors in 2026, it can’t be completely ruled out. He could be an impactful fantasy player by the end of 2027.

Seager is out of the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Red Sox, and the symptoms come from a collision at home plate against the Royals on Thursday. The 32-year-old is considered day-to-day, but he’ll need to be clear of those symptoms before he gets back in the lineup.

Webb is known for being a groundball pitcher, of course, but he got a bunch of lazy flies today in improving to 4-4 with a 3.46 ERA. It’s the second straight start in which he’s pitched eight innings and allowed one run, as he did so in a no-decision against the Nationals last week. He’s allowed a total of two earned runs in 27 1/3 innings over four starts since coming off the IL. Next up for him is start in Miami against the Marlins.

It wasn’t a save chance, but Kilian, now designated the Giants’ closer, turned in his seventh straight scoreless appearance since giving up five runs in a blown save and a loss to the Rockies on May 29. His ERA is back down to 3.13.
