The 31-year-old non-roster invitee has been awfully impressive in Rockies’ camp thus far, and that continued on Friday. Zimmer smacked an RBI single off of Bryan Woo in the opening inning and swiped second base, but wound up getting stranded at third. He then hammered a go-ahead solo homer off of Joey Krehbiel in the fifth inning to put the Rockies on top 6-5. The former top prospect is hitting a blistering .438 (7-for-16) with a homer, two RBI and a pair of stolen bases through his first seven spring games, and if he keeps this up, he’s going to play his way onto the Opening Day roster.

Rengifo was atrocious in his limited time with the Brew Crew; forging a 205/.280/.254 slash line in 209 plate appearances before being designated for assignment. He could report to Triple-A if/when he goes unclaimed or untraded, but there’s just as good of chance he’ll become a free agent and look to rebound with a new organization.

Pratt is technically recalled because he was on the 40-man roster, but the 21-year-old will be making his MLB debut Tuesday against the Guardians — assuming he’s in the starting lineup. The 21-year-old has several above-average tools, but his mediocre production in Triple-A and the difficulty of the sport he plays makes Pratt more off a long-term play than one who has to be on fantasy rosters.

Giménez, 27, was scratched from Sunday’s lineup due to soreness in his left wrist. The veteran infielder is good to go with Davis Schneider on the bench to open Tuesday’s tilt against the Red Sox.

Guerrero Jr. missed Saturday and Sunday’s game while dealing with tightness in his back. The 27-year-old is good to go to begin the series against Boston, so Charles McAdoo retreats to the bench to make room for Vladdy Jr. in the lineup.

Nunez had some flashes early in the season, but the 24-year-old has scuffled as of late to see his ERA balloon to 4.98 with a 38/14 K/BB ratio over 34 1/3 innings. He should be back at some point this summer, but Ryan Helsley (elbow) is back to resume closing duties for Baltimore.

Helsley is back after missing almost exactly six weeks with his elbow injury. The right-hander should return to closing games for Baltimore, and should be reinstated into fantasy lineups now that he’s back with the O’s.

Rutledge was designated for assignment by the Phillies on Thursday, and he’ll now be a free agent rather than report back to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. The former first-round pick will likely see some interest as a potential reclamation project.

With Turner out, Brandon Marsh will hit leadoff, and Edmundo Sosa will play shortstop and hit ninth. Turner is considered day-to-day with a right wrist contusion and already had x-rays return negative, so there’s a good chance he’s back in the lineup in the coming days.

The Mariners not only have six starters working right now deserving of rotation nods, but also arguably the best left-handed and right-handed pitching prospects in baseball in Anderson and Sloan. Anderson has been particularly impressive with a 1.13 ERA and 82/6 K/BB ERA in Double-A, but Sloan is a 20-year-old with three pitches that can miss bats and has flashed brilliance in the same league. Jude does note that both have a chance to pitch for Seattle later this summer, but for now, Double-A hitters are going to have a bad time when they face Arkansas.
