Orioles optioned RHP Seth Johnson to Triple-A Norfolk; reassigned LHP Ronald Guzmán, C Silas Ardoin, RHPs Nathan Webb, Garrett Stallings and RHP Justin Armbruester to minor league camp.
No real surprises here for Baltimore, but the name that stands out is Guzmán, who has reportedly been touching the upper-90’s this spring in bullpen sessions as he continues his transition to a full-time pitcher.

Rockies 1B/OF prospect Charlie Condon went 3-for-5 with a walk, a double, a home run, two runs scored, and three RBI for Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.
Condon now has four home runs and nine RBI on the season while slashing .325/.438/1.113 in 10 games. He does have an 11/7 K/BB ratio, so there are some swing-and-miss issues to work out, but it’s hard to deny what the 22-year-old is doing at this level right now. He has played both first base and right field this season, so that gives the Rockies two potential spots to play him if he keeps hitting like this into the month of May.
HLs: Braves rout Guardians behind bottom of lineup
Chris Sale struck out six over six innings while the Braves offense racked up 19 hits, the most by any team in a game this season, to easily roll past the Cleveland Guardians in Atlanta on Sunday Night Baseball.
  • MIN Center Fielder
Twins OF prospect Walker Jenkins went 3-for-4 with one walk, one run scored, one RBI, and two steals for Triple-A St. Paul on Sunday.
The 21-year-old now has three steals on the season, which is nice to see since he was battling a hamstring issue at the end of March. He’s slashing just .242/.405/.273, but his 6/8 K/BB ratio shows a clear understanding of the strike zone. He just hasn’t been able to drive the pitches when he does get good ones to hit. That should come in time, and he still has a good chance to be up with Minnesota this summer.
  • MIA Starting Pitcher #20
Braxton Garrett threw six no-hit innings for Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday, allowing just one walk and striking out six.
Garrett sat at 92 mph with his four-seam fastball, but that pitch had just two whiffs on 12 swings and just a 50 percent first-pitch strike rate. However, Garrett filled the zone with his cutter and got four whiffs on seven swings with that offering while also showing off a slider that has a bit less drop but more horizontal movement and producing plenty of whiffs as well. The left-hander has a 0.59 ERA in three starts and would likely be up quickly if any Marlins starting pitcher falters.
  • CIN Right Fielder #57
Reds recalled OF Rece Hinds from Triple-A Louisville.
Hinds is hitting .354/.475/.771 in 61 plate appearances at Triple-A with five home runs and 16 RBI. He is also chasing out of the zone far less than he did last year, and his Triple-A swinging strike rate is down to 11 percent from 17.5 percent. His contact rate is also up from 68.6 percent to 76.6 percent. We’re dealing with small sample sizes here, but Hinds has tremendous raw power, so if he has really made gains in his swing decisions and contact rates, he could become an interesting add on waiver wires. We’d wait to see it first, though.
  • CIN Right Fielder #4
Reds optioned OF Noelvi Marte to Triple-A Louisville
This isn’t a huge surprise if you’ve been tracking Marte’s playing time, but it is pretty big news considering where he was going in fantasy drafts. The 24-year-old is hitting just .138/.194/.138 in 11 games with a 10/2 K/BB ratio. He has played league-average defense in the outfield, which is a small win, but not one that seemed to matter enough for the Reds. He will head down to Triple-A to try to rein in some of his over-aggressive tendencies and figure out why he is pounding the ball into the ground so much to begin the season.
  • ATL Starting Pitcher #67
Braves recalled RHP Rolddy Muñoz from Triple-A Gwinnett
Atlanta needed a fresh arm in the bullpen, so Muñoz gets the call after starting the season with 7 2/3 scoreless innings out of the bullpen at Triple-A.
  • ATL Starting Pitcher #46
Braves optioned LHP Dylan Dodd to Triple-A Gwinnett.
Dodd was up for one day, threw three shutout innings, and picked up a save. Now he’ll head back to the minors so the Braves can get a fresh arm in their bullpen. We imagine Dodd will get another opportunity soon.
  • BOS Starting Pitcher #70
Payton Tolle threw five scoreless innings for Triple-A Worcester on Sunday, allowing three hits and one walk while striking out six.
After a rough first start to the season, Tolle has rebounded quickly with impressive Triple-A performances. He threw 63 percent of his pitches for strikes while registering a 25 percent whiff rate and 27 percent CSW. Most of his whiffs still come on his four-seam fastball, but he actually used his cutter more than any other pitch in this one and threw it over one mph harder than he had all season. That’s going to be an important pitch for him against righties, but he still needs to command it better than he has so far this year.
  • ATL Starting Pitcher #51
Chris Sale held the Guardians to one run over six innings while cruising to a win Sunday in the Braves’ 13-1 rout.
Sale allowed eight hits, but only Rhys Hoskins’ homer in the sixth mattered, and the Braves had a 9-0 lead before that happened. Sale was again right around 96 mph with his fastball tonight. He slipped to 92.5 mph while ill in his second start of the year, but he’s been right near 96 in his other three starts. He’ll likely make his next start in Philadelphia on Saturday.
  • ATL Starting Pitcher #46
Dylan Dodd got a three-inning save against the Guardians in his 2026 debut Sunday.
Dodd, who was called up earlier in the day, was allowed to finish after entering a 9-1 game in the seventh, and the Guardians were kind enough to make things easy on him; he got nine outs on 33 pitches while working on just one day of rest after his last Triple-A outing. His previous 2026 highs for innings were two in spring training and 1 2/3 in the minors.
