Lance Lynn allowed two runs with six strikeouts over six innings in a win over the Cubs on Saturday.
Lynn bounced back in this one after giving up ten runs in his last start. He surrendered a solo homer to Seiya Suzuki in the first inning. A single, double, and sacrifice fly would bring a second run in to score in the fourth. Lynn would go two more frames, striking out six on the day on his way to a win. The 37-year-old right-hander ends the first half with a 4.39 ERA, 1.39 WHIP, and a 92/37 K/BB ratio across 96 1/3 innings.
