Orioles sent C David Bañuelos outright to Triple-A Norfolk.
Bañuelos went unclaimed on waivers after being designated for assignment earlier this week. The 27-year-old will remain with Baltimore as emergency catching depth.

Noah Cameron held the Guardians to one run over 5 1/3 innings, but he didn’t pick up a decision Tuesday.
Rea an 'interesting' fantasy SP with Horton out
Eric Samulski shares why Cade Horton's forearm injury could be a "long-term" situation and examines what options fantasy managers have with the Cubs SP on the injured list.
  • MIL Left Fielder #22
Christian Yelich is not in the lineup against the Red Sox on Tuesday.
The Brewers are going righty-heavy Tuesday, which makes sense because they’re facing one of the toughest lefties in baseball in Garrett Crochet. That means that not only Yelich will sit, but Brice Turang will also get his first day of rest of the season as well. Luis Matos will be the designated hitter, and David Hamilton gets the start at second base.
  • CLE Relief Pitcher #91
Andrew Walters (lat) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Columbus.
Walters has been out since last June due to a lat muscle strain that required surgery. The 25-year-old will likely need a couple of weeks in the minors at least before having a chance to help the Cleveland bullpen.
  • BOS Starting Pitcher #50
Kutter Crawford (wrist) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Wednesday.
Crawford is recovering from right wrist surgery, but he’s made solid progress over the past few weeks. if that bullpen session goes well, Crawford could begin a rehab assignment over the weekend with Triple-A Worcester. The question would be what kind of role Crawford would have with Boston, as the rotation is full and he hasn’t pitched in the majors since 2024.
  • TOR 3rd Baseman #47
Addison Barger (ankle) is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Dodgers.
Barger, 26, is dealing with bilateral ankle discomfort, and the 26-year-old will miss a second-straight start while recovering. Nathan Lukes is starting in right field while Barger — who is considered day-to-day — sits.
  • TOR Catcher #55
Tyler Heineman is not in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Dodgers.
With Alejandro Kirk on the injured list with a thumb injury, Heineman will get most of the starts behind the plate. Tuesday is an exception, however, as Brandon Valenzuela will catch Kevin Gausman and hit ninth.
  • NYY 3rd Baseman #19
Ryan McMahon is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s bout against the Athletics.
McMahon has been awful to begin the season, going 2-for-23 with an OPS of just .363. He’ll get a break even with right-hander Aaron Civale on the bump for the A’s, and Amed Rosario will get the start at third while hitting seventh.
  • TB Starting Pitcher #57
Rays placed RHP Drew Rasmussen on the paternity list.
Rasmussen was expected to start Tuesday, but he’ll leave the team to take care of more important things than baseball. Mason Englert will instead get the start against the Cubs on Tuesday. Rasmussen should be back and start before the end of the week.
  • COL Catcher #15
Hunter Goodman is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s affair against the Astros.
This will be the first off-day of the season for Goodman. The 26-year-old will get a break and Brett Sullivan will catch and hit eighth in Goodman’s absence.
  • BOS 3rd Baseman #5
Caleb Durbin is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s tilt against the Brewers.
Durbin will get a Tuesday off for the second straight week despite a two-hit game Monday against his former team. He’ll take a breather with Isiah Kiner-Falefa getting the start at third base and hitting ninth.
