Keider Montero delivered a strong performance in a no-decision against the Red Sox on Saturday afternoon, allowing just one run on five hits over 4 1/3 innings of work.
The 25-year-old hurler racked up seven strikeouts on the day and didn’t walk a batter. The only blemish on his afternoon came on a two-out RBI single off the bat of Nick Sogard in the second inning. Montero got seven whiffs on 76 pitches on the day, registering a CSW of 32 percent. He wraps up the 2025 season with a 4.37 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and a 72/31 K/BB ratio across 90 2/3 innings in 20 appearances (12 starts) with the Tigers.
