Akil Baddoo hit a solo homer in a loss Sunday to the White Sox.

Baddoo has his first homer of the spring season after signing a one-year deal with the Brewers in December. The 27-year-old is not a lock to make Milwaukee’s Opening Day roster, but a good showing in the Cactus League gives him a chance to show off his power/speed ability; albeit not in a starting role.

Mets selected the contract of 1B/OF Eric Wagaman from Triple-A Norfolk.

Wagaman will get his first big-league taste of the 2026 season after hitting .250/.296/.378 with the Marlins in 514 plate appearances in 2025. Wagaman had hit .245/.357/.387 in 31 games with Triple-A Syracuse and St. Paul. He won’t be a major fantasy contributor, but perhaps he’ll give the Mets a decent bat against lefties for the time being.

Tyrone Taylor

NYM Center Fielder #28

Mets placed OF Tyrone Taylor on the 10-day injured list with a right hip flexor strain.

Taylor was hitting .186/.210/.320 in 43 games with the Mets this year, playing a bigger role than expected due to injuries. Eric Wagaman figures to be the right-handed option off the bench for the Mets in Taylor’s stead.

Jonathan Pintaro

NYM Starting Pitcher #91

Mets optioned RHP Jonathan Pintaro to Triple-A Syracuse.

Pintaro pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings in his two appearances with the Mets, striking out three. He figures to remain in the team’s bullpen shuttle mix, but the Mets opted for a fresh arm after he closed out a 7-2 loss to the Reds on Monday with 40 pitches.

Mets optioned OF Nick Morabito to Triple-A Norfolk.

Jared Young’s activation off the injured list comes at the expense of the 23-year-old’s major league roster spot. Morabito did not record a hit in 12 plate appearances, striking out nine times and getting caught stealing on his only attempt. He’ll see if he can turn it around in Norfolk.

Mets activated 1B/OF Jared Young from the 10-day injured list.

Young figures to reclaim a strong-side platoon role as long as Jorge Polanco remains out, and perhaps longer if he keeps hitting. Young was at .350/.391/.450 in 23 plate appearances before hurting himself in late April, so the Mets figure to at least give him some at-bats in the hopes he can get hot.

A.J. Minter

NYM Relief Pitcher #33

Mets activated LHP A.J. Minter from the 60-day injured list.

He figures to vie with Brooks Raley for the team’s main lefty late-game role. Minter had a 1.64 ERA before getting hurt in 2025 and should at least have a chance at reclaiming the gig ahead of Raley. Assuming the Mets bother winning some games here or there, he’ll have some value in leagues with holds.

Nick Raquet

BAL Starting Pitcher #72

Orioles recalled LHP Nick Raquet from Triple-A Norfolk.

He had a 10.13 ERA with the Orioles in 2 2/3 innings earlier in the year, but also has a 3.24 ERA in 16 2/3 innings between Triple-A Memphis and Norfolk this year. Raquet will keep getting chances in the Orioles bullpen shuttle.

Dietrich Enns

BAL Relief Pitcher #71

Orioles designated LHP Dietrich Enns for assignment.

Enns had a 3.94 ERA in 16 innings (13 appearances) for the Orioles this year while walking 11 and striking out 13. The 35-year-old probably should factor into another team’s bullpen shuffle if he doesn’t ultimately remain with the Orioles. He pitched each of the last two days, throwing 23 pitches combined in two wins against the Rays, and Baltimore preferred a fresh arm.

Gabe Speier

SEA Relief Pitcher #55

Marirners activated LHP Gabe Speier from the 15-day injured list.

Speier will resume his role as a bridge to Andres Muñoz, though Jose A. Ferrer is also pitching well enough that Speier probably won’t immediately be in any sort of competition for holds. Speier had a 2.92 ERA and 1.54 WHIP in 12 1/3 innings before hitting the injured list in early May.
