It’s a significant relief for the Phillies that Turner didn’t suffer any fractures based on initial imaging when he was hit by a pitch during Monday’s series opener against the Marlins. The 32-year-old has been struggling at the dish of late, but his absence would’ve created some problems for Philadelphia, especially from a defensive standpoint. He’s presumably day-to-day heading into the final two games of the series against Miami.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters the session went well, which is encouraging. The 32-year-old fantasy ace has been on the shelf with a bone bruise in his left elbow since mid-May. It’ll take a few weeks to ramp-up his throwing progression before he’s ready to return to New York’s rotation. It seems safe to assume that he won’t be back until around next month’s All-Star break since he’ll need at least a couple minor league rehab starts to knock off the rust.

Anthony has been out since early May after being diagnosed with a torn ligament in his ring finger on his throwing hand. It’s an uncommon injury, according to an orthopedist The Boston Globe’s Alex Speier spoke to earlier this week, which typically requires an 8-12 week recovery timeline. The 22-year-old is approaching the eight-week mark since suffering the injury. He hasn’t been cleared to swing a bat and remains without a definitive return timetable. At this juncture it seems highly unlikely he’ll return before next month’s All-Star break since he’ll need several weeks to ramp up baseball activities.

Domínguez told reporters he’s available off the bench after having a tooth pulled earlier in the day prior to Tuesday’s contest against the White Sox. It’ll be Spencer Jones patrolling center field with Cody Bellinger and José Caballero in the corners. The 23-year-old former top prospect has gone 2-for-8 with a solo homer in a pair of games since returning from the injured list over the weekend. He’s worthy of a speculative pickup in deeper mixed leagues based on his talent and opportunity to play everyday in right field with Aaron Judge (rib) on the injured list for the next couple weeks.

Brown returns to Houston’s rotation to face former teammate and current Tigers southpaw Framber Valdez on Tuesday night at Daikin Park. The 27-year-old fantasy ace wound up missing 10 weeks recovering from a shoulder strain that he suffered back in early April. It’s a strong home matchup right out of the gate, even if Detroit has been scoring plenty of runs recently. He shouldn’t have any restrictions from a workload standpoint after throwing 74 pitches during his final minor league rehab start for Triple-A Sugar Land last week.

Price heads back to the minors to clear a roster spot for Astros ace Hunter Brown to return from the injured list. The 26-year-old backstop went 2-for-12 at the plate across seven games in his first stint at the highest level.

Murray winds up losing his spot on Houston’s 40-man roster after allowing 11 runs on 19 hits over 13 1/3 innings this season. The 29-year-old figures to pass through waivers unclaimed and could stick around as organizational depth.

Woodruff will make another rehab start in the minors as he works his way back from the shoulder issue that has sidelined him for the overwhelming majority of 2026. The right-hander may need to make one more appearance below the MLB level after, but he’s closing in no rejoining the Brew Crew rotation before the end of June.

Rengifo was atrocious in his limited time with the Brew Crew; forging a 205/.280/.254 slash line in 209 plate appearances before being designated for assignment. He could report to Triple-A if/when he goes unclaimed or untraded, but there’s just as good of chance he’ll become a free agent and look to rebound with a new organization.

Pratt is technically recalled because he was on the 40-man roster, but the 21-year-old will be making his MLB debut Tuesday against the Guardians — assuming he’s in the starting lineup. The 21-year-old has several above-average tools, but his mediocre production in Triple-A and the difficulty of the sport he plays makes Pratt more off a long-term play than one who has to be on fantasy rosters.

Giménez, 27, was scratched from Sunday’s lineup due to soreness in his left wrist. The veteran infielder is good to go with Davis Schneider on the bench to open Tuesday’s tilt against the Red Sox.
