Bol Bol was a +18 in his first start with Orlando and it couldn’t have gone much better with 11 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and a block in 26 minutes. As I said in today’s Waiver Wired, we could have our next fantasy unicorn as this guy can truly do it all.

We even saw him initiate some offense along with Franz Wagner in one of the biggest lineups I’ve ever seen. If he’s somehow still on your waiver wire, what are you waiting for?
As for the rest of the pickups, here’s a list of guys under 50% rostered that gained some value on Friday. For NBA news and fantasy advice, find me on Twitter here!
De’Anthony Melton (50%)- Joel Embiid being out helped a lot, but Melton has been a 7th rounder in 9-cat in 20 minutes per game this season. At some point, Doc Rivers will surely realize he has a gem on his roster. And I thought Taylor Jenkins was bad…
Bones Hyland (44%)- He’s been dropped in so many leagues after shooting 31% prior to Friday’s explosion. Too much upside here to pass on. Bones is also a nice hedge for anyone rostering Nikola Jokić, Michael Porter Jr. and Jamal Murray.
Jaylen Nowell (24%)- Finally had a bad game and still had a 6/5/5 line with a steal and a block.
Chris Boucher (24%)- Coach Nick Nurse and his teammates have all been hyping him up. Boucher’s energy has been through the roof and his minutes are rising rapidly. I’d add before it’s too late, but he’s tricked us in the past. Well, no, it was Nurse who tricked us.
Austin Reaves (2%)- The Lakers have a LOT of issues right now. I think Reaves getting more minutes is a way to at least buy them time while they figure out what to do with Russell Westbrook.
Andre Drummond (39%)- He closed over Nikola Vučević and put up a 17/14 double-double. I don’t think Vucevic’s job is in danger, to be clear.
Bismack Biyombo (1%) and Jock Landale (7%)- Keep an eye on both while we wait for information on Deandre Ayton‘s injury. While Landale has been ahead of Biyombo, I actually think Biyombo would start if Ayton misses time, and he does have a nice resume alongside this first unit. Tonight proved it.
Josh Richardson (20%)- An automatic stream until Devin Vassell comes back from his knee issue. The strange decision to waive Joshua Primo certainly helps as well. Deep-league managers should watch Blake Wesley closely too.
Mo Bamba (29%)- I’m not adding after one game with garbage time being a factor, but I’ll watch closely. If he’s ever traded I’ll take off in a full sprint to my computer.
*Tyus Jones (27%)- He’s not a long-term add, but Jones is one of the best streaming options for Saturday’s slate with Ja Morant doubtful with an illness. Jones has career per-36 averages of 12.1 points, 7.2 assists, 1.9 steals and 1.3 triples.
Jeremy Sochan (5%)- We know what he can bring defensively and that is solid rebounding, blocks and steals, but now his minutes are way up with so many guys out. If he can do what he did on Friday night consistently we could have a serious player on our hands.
Aaron Nesmith (1%)- His first game that made me turn my head. A phenomenal shooter, Nesmith certainly has my attention now. A Buddy Hield trade could send his value soaring.
Jose Alvarado (8%)- Don’t drop someone you’d miss, as Alvarado is a short-term solution until the Pelicans are healthy.
