Terry Rozier Celtics – Rozier cooled off with 4-of-16 shooting, but still had a nice game and is as must-own as they come, and has been for a while.
Josh Jackson Suns and Jayson Tatum Celtics – Both guys had 23 points and six boards in a personal showdown of swingmen of the future and it was a blast to watch. Both should be owned everywhere.
Trey Burke Knicks – He’s played well in three straight and blew up for 42 points, 12 assists, a steal and three 3-pointers on 19-of-31 shooting last night. With Jarrett Jack likely done for the year and Emmanuel Mudiay not feeling well, Burke could continue to impress the rest of the way. Go get him.
Michael Beasley Knicks – He had 27 points, eight boards, a steal and a 3-pointer last night and is averaging 17.2 points, 7.6 boards and a 3-pointer over his last five. He’s worth owning until further notice.
Brook Lopez Lakers – He had 14 points, three boards, nine assists and five blocks in 32 minutes. He’s been a different player over the last month and should be owned everywhere if you’re still alive in the fantasy playoffs.
Jeremy Lamb Hornets – He played 28 minutes off the bench and had 12 points, six boards, six assists and two 3-pointers, despite the return of Nicolas Batum. And with three more games this week, he’s worth using, even with the return of Batum.
Wayne Selden Grizzlies – Selden hit 9-of-14 shots and four 3-pointers for 23 points, four assists and three steals. Selden has scored at least 16 points in five of his last six games and appears to be a strong pickup for the rest of the way. JaMychal Green is also worth owning, along with Andrew Harrison, while guys like Jarell Martin and Dillon Brooks have cooled off in Memphis.
Tyler Ulis Suns – Ulis has played well in three straight and had a season-high 19 points with two 3-pointers, five boards, eight assists, a steal and a block in 30 minutes on Monday. Maybe the Suns are ready to give Elfrid Payton (15 minutes) a rest and let Ulis play the rest of the way. He’s worth a look, either way.
Troy Daniels Suns – Daniels hit six 3-pointers for 18 points and six rebounds last night, and is averaging 17.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.2 3-pointers over his last five games. As long as Devin Booker and T.J. Warren are banged up, Daniels should continue to shine. Although he’s only good for points, threes and some boards.
Reggie Jackson Pistons – He started again and had 20 points, five boards, three assists and two 3-pointers. I have no idea why the Pistons are messing with him after he missed so much time, but he’s worth a look as long as he’s playing.
Nicolas Batum Hornets – Batum played 24 minutes and had nine points, three boards, four assists and a 3-pointer after missing time with an achilles injury. He has three more games this week, but with a back-to-back set on Saturday and Sunday, there’s a decent chance he’ll sit one of those out.
Markelle Fultz Sixers – He made his debut and hit 5-of-13 shots for 10 points, four rebounds and eight assists in 14 minutes. The Sixers will likely baby him, but he’s certainly worth a look after a strong debut.
Marquese Chriss Suns – Chriss had a spectacular run-down block last night and finished with 13 points, four boards, two assists, a block and a 3-pointer. He’s now averaging 12.4 points, 6.2 boards, 0.6 steals, 1.0 blocks and 0.8 3-pointers over his last five, making him worth a look down the stretch. But as you know, he’s not easy to trust. In fact, he’s been impossible to trust, but he looks engaged again.
Nemanja Bjelica Wolves – He’s been struggling, scoring five or fewer points in three of his last five games. He was 0-for-5 last night, but was very hot not that long ago. The Wolves are fighting for their playoff lives and Jimmy Butler’s not back from his knee surgery yet, so don’t be surprised to see Bjelica get hot again before the regular season ends.
Anthony Tolliver Pistons – He had 15 points, three boards, three assists and three 3-pointers last night after scoring 25 with six rebounds and six 3-pointers on Saturday. He could finish up strong for the Pistons, who are all but officially eliminated from the playoffs. Goodness knows Stanley Johnson probably isn’t going to suddenly figure it out.
Luke Kennard Pistons – He played 19 minutes for seven points, two rebounds and two assists, but had been playing much better coming in. He could see a boost once the Pistons are officially eliminated from the playoff race.
Luke Kornet Knicks – He had eight points, five boards, a steal, a block and two 3-pointers and has made a little noise in three straight games. The Knicks could fully turn him loose at any minute, but he’s tough to trust.
