After a crazy Week 1 of the NFL season, Week 2 is already here. As stats begin to compile for players, it will only make it harder to decide which players need to be in lineups, and which will ride the bench. With that in mind, it is time to take a look at one of our most helpful season tools: the start/sit tool.

In this week’s edition of the NFL Season Tools preview, we are taking a look at our start/sit tool. With the start/sit tool, users are able to compare weekly as well as rest-of-season projections for any player they want in order to help them make informed decisions when crafting their lineups. You can also compare their game logs and season stats all while being able to check on the latest news. This preview features Ravens WR Rashod Bateman and Cardinals WR Marquise Brown, who both saw multiple targets and caught a touchdown in Week 1. With both players being on high-octane offenses, we compared their Week 2 outlooks to see which is the better option to start and which one should ride the pine in full PPR leagues.

With both players profiling as the respective #1 WR in their offenses, our start/sit tool projects Brown to see more targets and thus record more receiving yards against a susceptible Las Vegas defense. While Bateman could finish the week with solid overall numbers, especially if he hauls in another touchdown, our projections reflect the low volume he will likely receive in a run-first offense. Nonetheless, both wideouts can be seen as worthy candidates to start in your lineups.
