Hendrickson (finger) removed from Week 3 report

The Saints will be without their gadget player and return specialist, teeing up WR Bryce Lance for the full-time No. 3 wide receiver role. Brown is not relevant in 12-team leagues, though he may be missed by the Saints. Emerson, the Saints’ No. 3 cornerback, is sidelined by a shoulder injury.

Chanel was able to wave to the crowd as he exited, but obviously this is an injury that has potential long-term ramifications. He’ll likely be unavailable to go in Week 4 against the Colts in London.

Bowers makes his debut in coach Klint Kubiak’s offense against the Saints today. The two-time Pro Bowl player should be started as a high-end TE1, although it might take a game or two for Bowers to get back into form. That said, it might not. He is an exceptionally talented player who should immediately function as his team’s top target earner.

Durant, Hooker, and Overshown were all ruled out before the weekend, so there’s nothing surprising here. The Cowboys are down four key players on the defensive side of the ball, which could make for a big day for Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.

Evans entered the weekend questionable for Week 3 after missing two practices and getting in one limited practice during the week. The veteran tends to rest minor injuries before playing in games, indicating his hip issue should not have a major impact on his output against the Cardinals. The 49ers declared QB Kurtis Rourke, DE Nick Bosa (calf), DL James Thompson (ankle), DE Romello Height (hand), LB Tatum Bethune, CB Ephesians Prysock, and OT Enrique Cruz Jr. inactive for Week 3 against the Cardinals.

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, Flowers is only expected to be on the field for “about 20-30 plays.” Given this piece of news, fantasy managers looking to play Flowers shouldn’t view him as anything more than a WR3/WR4 in what could be a low-volume day for the Ravens’ WR1. While Flowers is active, the Ravens have declared WR Elijah Sarratt, FS K’Von Wallace, LB Carl Jones, LT Ronnie Stanley, DT Aeneas Peebles, and QB Fagnano inactive for Week 3.

Deemed questionable in the first quarter, Achane was officially ruled out to begin the second half. Obviously terrible news, though Achane did remain on the sideline in uniform, albeit sans his shoulder pads. Still, a player dealing with a long-term injury would typically remain in the locker room. Perhaps there is hope for Achane to suit up in Week 4 against the Vikings. But for now, fantasy managers need to consider second-year pro Ollie Gordon a must add. Jaylen Wright could also end up in the mix, but he’s inactive for Week 3 with a foot issue.

Beck continues to be the Cardinals’ third quarterback and will be a gameday inactive for Week 3 behind Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew. Dadrion “Rabbit” Taylor-Demerson (back) is the main injury inactive against the 49ers.

Chanel was unable to continue after taking hit on a run play, and while he was being stabilized, he was able to wave to the crowd upon his exit. There should be an update on the severity of the injury before the end of Sunday’s game.
