Browns G Teven Jenkins (back) won’t play in Cleveland’s Week 3 game against the Panthers.

He did not practice at any point this week and looks to be questionable for Week 4. The Browns also listed CB Tyson Campbell (hip, ankle) and Grant Delpit (shoulder) as questionable. Browns coach Todd Monken said he’s “hopeful” Campbell and Delpit will go.

The Browns have a quick turnaround as they prepare to face the Steelers on Thursday Night Football in Week 4, making it highly unlikely that Elgton Jenkins will be able to clear concussion protocol in time to suit up. That makes the practice status of Teven Jenkins of primary concern considering an absence would mean the Browns would be without two of their starting interior offensive linemen against one of the better pass rushes in the league.
  • CLE Cornerback #7
Mekhi Blackmon, who was signed off the street in late August, will again fill in for Campbell. It’s a significant downgrade, to put it mildly. Also inactive for the Browns are QB Taylen Green, LB Justin Jefferson, C Parker Brailsford and starting guard Teven Jenkins.
  • CLE Guard #78
Jenkins will miss a second straight game with a back injury that has sidelined him since last Thursday’s practice. The sixth-year guard was replaced by Austin Barber in last week’s game against the Jaguars. Barber appeared on 51 snaps, earning a PFF grade of 82.6 while allowing just one QB pressure on 33 pass-blocking snaps.
  • CLE Cornerback #7
Campbell departed the team’s Week 1 loss to the Jaguars with a head injury and was placed in the league’s concussion protocol. He was unable to practice in any capacity Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to limited Friday, at least keeping the door open for a potential return to the active roster. Even so, recent trends indicate he is more likely to miss Week 2 considering over two-thirds of players to enter the protocol miss at least one game.
  • CLE Guard #78
Jenkins missed the last two practices of Week 1 with a back injury that flared up. He is the starting right guard for the Browns’ offensive line but will now miss this week against the Jaguars. The other injury inactive is backup center Parker Brailsford (thumb), who got in some limited practices but is not healthy enough to be active just yet. Rookie Taylen Green will serve as the team’s emergency third quarterback.
  • CLE Safety #9
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the deal includes $35 million guaranteed. Delpit was set to play out the final year of his current contract in 2026 before landing this new deal. He totaled four pass breakups, one intercpetion, and a career-high three sacks in 2025. Though the pass-rushing production is unlikely to hold up this year, Delpit is a versatile safety on a defense that traded Myles Garrett in the offseason. Keeping him around beyond 2026 made sense for both sides.
  • CLE Guard #74
Jenkins mysteriously had little market after three years of outstanding PFF grades in Chicago, then wound up mostly playing off the bench for the Browns in 2025. He had a career-best 77.7 PFF blocking grade in 324 snaps. We’re guessing he’s not getting a major contract here, but it’s another solid signing for the Browns as they try to rebuild their offensive line.
  • CLE Cornerback #7
Campbell entered concussion protocol after hitting his head in the third quarter of the Browns’ Week 8 game against the Patriots. He headed to the locker room and was announced to be in concussion protocol, likely out for the rest of the game against New England. Rookie CB Dom Jones came in for Campbell and has already been picked on for a pair of touchdowns by the Patriots.
  • CLE Cornerback #3
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Browns and Jaguars will be swapping late-round picks in addition to the cornerbacks. Campbell signed a four-year, $76.5 million extension in the 2024 offseason with the Jaguars and is now under contract through 2028 for Cleveland. He has six interceptions and 42 passes defended through his five-year career, but has missed 11 games over the last two seasons. The Jaguars swap him out for Greg Newsome, who is in the last season of his rookie deal. Newsome held a top-45 PFF coverage grade each of his first three seasons and has three interceptions and 37 passes defended through four total seasons. The Jags have flexibility at corner with Travis Hunter mixing in for snaps; his usage won’t decrease with Newsome joining him on the outside. Meanwhile, the Browns opt for Campbell’s long-term deal over negotiating a Newsome extension.

This despite Cleveland’s recent signing of Teven Jenkins. The Browns’ offensive line was hit hard by injuries last season, and both Teller (30 years old) and incumbent LG Joel Bitonio (33 years old) are scheduled to hit free agency next offseason. The 27-year-old Jenkins received a one-year, $3.05 million prove-it deal, giving him the chance to earn a multi-year contract as either Teller or Bitonio’s replacement. Jenkins has experience playing both left guard and right guard. Teller has declined handily from his 2020-2021 peak while dealing with injuries, posting a 62.6 PFF grade in 2024 that was his lowest since 2019.

49ers WR Mike Evans (ribs) did not practice on Wednesday.

On the plus side, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan did not list Evans with the hip injury he dealt with last week, so that issue may already be behind him. Evans is reportedly considered day-to-day, and frequently plays through injuries, but he must be considered questionable to play in Week 4 against the Broncos at this time. Stay tuned.

Elgton Jenkins (concussion) will not play in Week 4 against the Steelers.

Teven Jenkins remains sidelined with a back injury. Elgton didn’t practice once this week and the short turnaround to Thursday Night Football was simply too quick for him to clear the league’s concussion protocol. Luke Wypler will start at center for Cleveland.

Giants coach John Harbaugh said the possibility of Jaxson Dart (knee) returning during the playoffs “may be a bit ambitious.”

Everyone but Harbaugh knew Dart wasn’t returning for the playoffs the moment his meniscus repair procedure was announced. Harbaugh, meanwhile, held out hope that his starting quarterback could return in time for a deep playoff run. Even he isn’t keeping that facade up anymore, though he noted that Dart’s surgery “went well.” Coming off an ugly win, Jameis Winston will make his second start of the year in Week 4. J.J. McCarthy will get a crack at the job when the Giants inevitably start losing.

Dolphins RB Jaylen Wright (foot/stinger) said he was “very close” to playing in Week 3 against the Chiefs.

Wright and RB Ollie Gordon are expected to split backfield touches moving forward, though this could be a fluid situation if one running back simply outplays the other. Gordon profiles as a burly grinder, while Wright may offer more big-play potential. It sounds like Wright has a strong chance of playing in Week 4 against the Vikings.

Dalvin Tomlinson (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.

The run-stuffing tackle missed Week 3 with the hamstring issue as well. James Cook gashed the Bolts for 154 yards and a score. Jadarian Price should see the majority of Seattle’s carries this week. Even after a slow start, he is still a viable FLEX play for Week 4.

Brenen Thompson (quad) did not practice Wednesday.

Thompson missed Week 3 with the quad issue. A DNP today makes it unlikely he is cleared for Week 4. Tre’ Harris will continue to go unchallenged as the team’s WR3. He could even push Quentin Johnston for the No. 2 job if the former first-round pick continues to struggle.

Bears coach Ben Johnson said LT Braxton Jones (knee) is week-to-week.

The Bears will be without their starting left tackle in Week 4 against the Jets. Johnson said second-year OT Ozzy Trapilo (knee) is “getting closer,” but he does not know if he will be able to play this week. Johnson adds that LG Joe Thuney and his backup, OG Jordan McFadden, can play offensive tackle if needed.

Jalen Ramsey (wrist) is questionable for Week 4 against the Browns.

Ramsey was listed as limited for all three practices this week. He is attempting to play through a broken wrist and will likely wear a cast or brace if he is active. As expected, Joey Porter Jr. remains out this week admist his contrat dispute with the team.

Bears coach Ben Johnson said Williams will not participate in today’s walkthrough, but noted that Williams is “getting better every single day.” He also said he has not decided which quarterback will start in Week 4 against the Jets. Week 3 starter QB Case Keenum was victorious over the Eagles on Monday Night Football and nominal No. 2 QB Tyson Bagent has cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol.
