Cody White caught 1-of-3 targets for four yards and one touchdown in the Raiders’ Week 3 win over the Saints.

White has likely earned himself a roster spot with three touchdowns in two weeks. He scored via an in-breaking route on the Raiders’ eighth possession, operating as the apparent checkdown in the progression. He is not yet worth stashing, but take note of his productivity.

He’ll miss at least the next four weeks. Bech had five catches for 48 yards and a touchdown in the first two weeks of the season, but played just 11 snaps in Week 3 before fracturing his forearm. The Raiders signed Cody White — he of the three touchdowns in the last two weeks — to the active roster as his replacement.

White last caught multiple passes in a game in Week 9 of the 2024 season. He had only done that three times throughout his five-year career before today. White got on the board in the third quarter with a hard-fought grab in the end zone. His second score was much easier. The Chargers simply forgot to cover him on a play-action pass in the red zone, resulting in the easiest of his three career scores. White only ran seven routes in this game and is primarily a special teamer. He isn’t a viable fantasy option for Week 3.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #82
White appeared in 10 games for the Seahawks last year. He caught three passes for 90 yards and a touchdown. With Jake Bobo also under contract for the 2026 season, most of White’s reps will come on special teams.
  • SEA Cornerback #24
Griffin was immediately signed to the Seahawks’ practice squad. The team signed wide receiver Cody White from their practice squad to the active roster in a corresponding move. They made the opposite pair of moves last week. This is what peak roster management looks like.

Seahawks S Julian Love (groin) was also downgraded to a non-participant after practicing in a limited capacity on Wednesday. Fellow Seahawks S Nick Emmanwori (ankle) was recently placed on injured reserve. With the secondary in such rough shape, the Seahawks signed CB Shaquill Griffin from the practice squad. The team correspondingly released WR Cody White before immediately signing him to the practice squad.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #19
Bobo entered concussion protocol after the Seahawks’ final preseason game. He is still working his way back, but a limited practice indicates he has a chance to play Week 1. Also limited at wide receiver were Cody White (shoulder) and Dareke Young (hamstring), while Tory Horton (ankle) was a full participant and is on track to play against the 49ers.

Zierlein gives White a grade of 5.40, which is the grade of a priority free agent in his book. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound wideout caught 66 passes for 922 yards and six touchdowns last year, but never quite reached an elite level for the Spartans. Zierlein does see some positives here, including his ability to make catches in traffic and make catches off the turf. " There are clearly ball skills that work in his favor, but the lack of functional speed and quickness too often turn him into a coverage magnet,” Zierlein writes. “Even if he tests well, it might be a hard sell since plus athletic traits don’t show up often enough on tape.”

White (6'3/215) appeared in all 13 of Michigan State’s games this season, catching 66 passes for 922 yards and six touchdowns. He became an even more important target in the passing game during the second half of the season, as the Spartans were hit hard by injuries at the skill positions. White is capable of returning punts, accumulating 40 yards on seven returns in Michigan State’s first four games. He’s likely to be a Day 3 selection in April’s draft.
  • LV Wide Receiver #82
After catching no more than five passes in any of his first eight games of the season, White (6'3/215) finished the 2019 campaign in solid form. Over his last five outings the junior wide receiver caught 36 passes after catching a total of 30 in the first eight. White finishes the season with 66 receptions for 922 yards and six touchdowns, with half of those scores coming in Michigan State’s November 23 win over Rutgers. He’ll have a decision to make with the NFL Draft entry deadline a couple weeks away, with Pro Football Network draft analyst Tony Pauline giving him a sixth-round grade back in August. Should White enter he’s likely looking at being a Day 3 selection or UDFA, but he would be a dependable target for whoever wins Michigan State’s quarterback job if he were to return in 2020.
  • LV Wide Receiver #82
Through the first eight games of the season White (6'3/215) never topped more than five receptions or 70 yards in any game. However he has bested those marks in each of the past three games, posting 24 catches for 342 yards total. White has taken over as the primary option in the MSU passing game since Darrell Stewart injured his leg October 26th against Penn State and will look to keep rolling next Saturday when Michigan State takes on a sputtering Maryland.

Dolphins WR Chris Bell (knee) was limited on Thursday.

The Dolphins’ ascending rookie wide receiver is on track to face the Vikings this week, although he continues to be limited by his surgically repaired knee. Bell should be viewed as a FLEX starter with an admittedly tough matchup against the Vikings.

Dolphins RB Jaylen Wright (foot) practiced in full on Thursday.

Wright should be rostered in 12-team leagues. He is now on track to play in Week 4 against the Vikings and is still listed ahead of RB Ollie Gordon on the Dolphins’ depth chart. The Vikings’ defense could bottle up this running back, but things might get a tad easier in Week 5 against the Bengals.

    49ers released WR KhaDarel Hodge.

Hodge has been released with an injury settlement. Per ESPN’s Nick Wagoner, this opens the door for him to return upon healing while also saving a possible short-term injured reserve spot.

Nico Collins (hamstring) was limited on Thursday.

Another limited session keeps Collins in the questionable column as he attempts to return from a multi-week hamstring strain. The Texans would surely like to have their star wide receiver back for what could be a back-and-forth game environment against the Cowboys this week, but balancing short-term and long-term needs is critical. Stay tuned.

Saints WR Barion Brown (hamstring) was limited on Thursday.

Both Brown and TE Noah Fant (abdomen) were limited today, putting them tentatively on track to play on Monday night against the Falcons. Neither player belongs in fantasy lineups, but their presence is helpful for QB Tyler Shough.

Christian Benford (toe) did not practice on Thursday.

The Bills’ No. 1 cornerback is on the wrong side of questionable through two Week 4 practices. Fortunately, the Patriots’ wide receiver corps is nothing to write home about.

DJ Moore (shoulder) was limited on Thursday.

Moore is again on track to play through his AC joint sprain, though the injury is still limiting him to some degree. Regardless, the Bills face the Patriots this weekend, and CB1 Christian Gonzalez (shoulder) has not yet practiced this week. Moore is a WR2 entering Week 4.

Ladd McConkey (foot) was not seen practicing on Thursday.

This is unfortunate. McConkey was limited yesterday by a new foot injury. Today’s absence suggests he suffered the injury at Wednesday’s practice. He is firmly in the questionable column at this time. Chargers WR Tre’ Harris has outplayed WR Quentin Johnston thus far, but the Seahawks’ defense is a formidable foe.

Aaron Donald (back) was not seen practicing on Thursday.

The 35-year-old, recently unretired defensive tackle’s back is hurting. He might have a chance to play this week, but his Friday participation level should shed more light on his current state. Stay tuned.

Saints coach Kellen Moore said that “at the moment,” he does not expect WR Jordyn Tyson (hamstring) to begin practicing next week.

Tyson is currently on injured reserve and will be eligible to join his teammates on the practice field next week. Moore added, “but we shall see” at the end of his statement, making it at least possible for Tyson to resume practicing in Week 5. For now, Week 6 could be more likely. Once activated from injured reserve, Tyson will have a 21-day window to continue rehabbing, if need be.
