ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Raiders are “fully expecting” Brock Bowers (knee/illness) to play in Week 4 against the Chiefs.

Today’s report is in relation to Bowers’ illness, not his knee. Earlier this morning, the Raiders announced that Bowers has come down with an illness, but the illness will not alter his game status. Bowers’ knee was a non-issue last week, and we expect it to be a non-issue again this week. He is good to go for the Raiders’ Week 4 game against the Chiefs. Treat him like an elite TE1, as usual.
NFL could 'deconstruct' Sunday Ticket by 2030
Mike Florio discusses the future of NFL broadcasting on the heels of a report that the league could do away with Sunday Ticket, the subscription service allowing fans to watch every out-of-market game, by 2030.

Bowers was not on the injury report Wednesday and Thursday. The Raiders limited him on Friday. Last week, he logged two limited sessions before sitting out on Friday. The improvement is encouraging, but it is worth mentioning that the team is still managing his reps during each week’s final practice. He should be treated as an elite TE1, as usual.

Bowers showed no ill effects from his Week 1 meniscus trim, lining up all over the formation and dominating Saints defenders from start to finish. Bowers thrived on out routes and crossers, but also played well as a toe-tapping vertical weapon on the sideline. He muscled through contact on a catch-and-run on the Raiders’ third drive and later made a 20-yard catch, tumbling backward as he secured it on the Raiders’ sixth drive. He scored on an out route from the slot on the Raiders’ ninth drive, bringing the game up to six total tight end touchdowns, tying the NFL’s record. Bowers can be treated as the overall TE1 against the Chiefs next week.

Bowers makes his debut in coach Klint Kubiak’s offense against the Saints today. The two-time Pro Bowl player should be started as a high-end TE1, although it might take a game or two for Bowers to get back into form. That said, it might not. He is an exceptionally talented player who should immediately function as his team’s top target earner.

Bowers will still need to test out his knee during pre-game warmups, but all signs point to him making his 2026 debut later today. The team heavily limited his workload during practice this week and could do so in his first game back from the late offseason meniscus trim. Still, if Bowers is active, fantasy managers have to get him in their lineups.

Bowers did not practice today, but head coach Klint Kubiak said that was part of the team’s plan for managing his injury. Bowers had been limited each of the past two days. It seems plausible given how often he’s being managed at practice that he’d be on a snap count if active, but that’s just our speculation. Kubiak added that the team will not be working Bowers out pre-game like they did ahead of Week 2. Bowers-reliant managers are used to having contingency plans at this point and that will remain the case for Week 3.
  • LV Tight End #89
This is great to see. Bowers has now participated in three consecutive practices, dating back to last week. We do not yet know his participation level. He has been limited in his last two appearances. Bowers is seemingly on track to play in Week 3 against the Saints. Treat him as an elite TE1 if he takes the field on Sunday.
  • LV Tight End #89
That makes two consecutive limited sessions for Bowers, who resumed practicing on Friday last week. The Raiders’ star tight end and No. 1 pass catcher is on track to play this week against the Saints and can be treated as an elite TE1, as usual, assuming this is the case. It would be great to see Bowers resume practicing in full tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Rapoport wrote that “there is a good chance” Bowers returns this week as the caption for his NFL Network segment. He used stronger language in the actual segment, telling viewers to “expect” Bowers to be on the field when the Raiders travel to New Orleans for a date with the Saints this week. The Raiders’ top pass catcher should be treated as an elite TE1 upon his return.
  • LV Tight End #89
Bowers returned to the practice field last Friday and logged a limited session. The star tight end will likely have a chance to log multiple practices this week and should have a realistic shot at suiting up against the Saints. Kubiak said on Sunday that Bowers was “very close” to dressing on game day, and a Week 3 return has always felt like the unofficial deadline if his recovery goes well. Bowers’ status will be one to monitor throughout the week, but it sounds like he is trending in the right direction at the start of this week.
  • LV Tight End #89
Kubiak adds that Bowers “looks great.” The Raiders’ star tight end practiced in a limited capacity on Friday and went through pre-game warmups today to see if he could play, despite being listed as doubtful. Nothing is set in stone, and re-injuries are possible, but Kubiak’s comments are very encouraging. Bowers seemingly has a real chance to make his 2026 debut, playing in Kubiak’s offense for the very first time, in Week 3 against the Saints. He should be treated as an elite TE1 if active.

Ashton Dulin caught 3-of-6 targets for 29 yards in the Colts’ Week 4

Dulin was active for the first time this year. His return could not have come at a better time with Keenan Allen ruled out over the weekend. Dulin took on a starting role and wound up leading the team in targets, tied with Laquon Treadwell. The Colts couldn’t get much going through the air and settled for spreading the ball around instead of peppering their top pass-catchers with targets. It’s hard to imagine them taking that approach again in Week 5. Even if they do, Dulin is more of a thorn in the sides of Tyler Warren and Josh Downs than a FLEX option in his own right.

Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase (concussion protocol) is questionable to return Week 4 against the Jaguars.

Chase was injured after a second quarter facemask penalty by a Jaguars defender. His neck whipped back as he was taken to the ground and he promptly exited the game. After a brief amount of time in the blue tent, Chase headed to the locker room. The Bengals announced he is being evaluated for a concussion but a locker room visit indicates Chase is on the wrong side of questionable.

Laquon Treadwell caught 5-of-6 targets for 42 yards in the Colts’ Week 4 win over the Commanders.

Treadwell has taken over Alec Pierce’s role with the latter now on IR. Though he isn’t as productive as Pierce, Treadwell is still capable of moving the chains every now and then. He somehow led the Colts in targets this week, which may ultimately be a sign of the dysfunction in their passing game. Even after the solid performance, fantasy managers shouldn’t be looking to play Treadwell in Week 5.

Josh Downs caught 3-of-4 targets for 16 yards in the Colts’ Week 4 win over the Commanders.

With Alec Pierce and IR and Keenan Allen ruled out, this was supposed to be Downs’ breakout performance. Instead, Downs went missing for most of the game. He caught two passes in the first quarter, another in the second, and did not touch the ball again for the remaining 35 minutes of the contest. Downs finished fourth on the team in targets and was used primarily for check-down duties, though that’s all Daniel Jones was capable of today. Downs should still be treated as the team’s No. 1 receiver for Week 5 versus Pittsburgh, but his stranglehold on the targets is at least in question now.

Daniel Jones completed 19-of-34 passes for 143 yards and an interception in the Colts’ 30-13, Week 4 win over the Commanders.

Jones was disastrously inaccurate in the first half, making even routine catches absurdly difficult for his banged-up receiver room. He also began the game by losing the football after his left tackle was pushed into him, resulting in a fumble. He eventually got the grain on the tracks with back-to-back scoring drives to close the first half. Daniels settled in after the break, though the Colts mostly leaned on Jonathan Taylor, who scored twice, to salt away the game. Jones is averaging a dismal 188.5 yards per game with just three scores to his name. He is barely in the QB2 mix for Indy’s Week 5 game versus the Steelers.

Saquon Barkley was forced from the Eagles’ Week 4 game against the Rams with a hamstring injury and is questionable to return.

Barkley pulled up on a strong run on the Eagles’ second series. He dropped the ball out of bounds and appeared to be in a heap of pain, hopping around on one leg before taking a knee. He spent some time in the tent before making his way slowly to the locker room. Barkley pulls up not infrequently, but this had the looks of an issue likely to end his afternoon. Tank Bigsby was the next man up, taking a huge third down loss. Will Shipley should mix in, as well, if Barkley’s afternoon is indeed through.

Jonathan Taylor rushed 20 times for 95 yards and two touchdowns in the Colts’ Week 4 win over the Commanders.

Playing in London, Taylor needed just 78 yards to overtake Travis Etienne as the league’s all-time leading rusher in international games. Taylor didn’t disappoint with his third multi-score effort of the season. Marcus Mariota left the game early and the Colts pulled away in the second half, allowing them to lean on the ground game. With the passing game struggling throughout the first month of football, expect the Colts to continue to build their offense around Taylor. He remains near the top of the RB1 ranks for his Week 5 matchup with the Steelers.

Eli Raridon (thigh) is active for Week 4 against the Bills.

Raridon was questionable heading into the weekend, but he was able to get in three limited practice sessions this week, so he had been trending towards a return. He will back up Hunter Henry but could cut into Henry’s snaps enough to make Henry just a TE2 in deeper formats.

Patriots declared CB Christian Gonzalez, DT Christian Barmore, OT Dametrious Crownover, TE Tanner Arkin, QB Behren Morton, and CB Channing Canada inactive for Week 4 against the Bills.

Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel had announced Barmore and Gonzalez would miss this game a few days ago. However, this inactive list means that Dre’Mont Jones will return after missing the last two games. It’s a big boost for the Patriots defense, but we’re not usre it outweighs losing Gonzalez and Barmore.
