Ladd McConkey is questionable to return in Week 4 against the Seahawks with his foot injury.

McConkey didn’t catch either of his targets in the first half before exiting, with one of those a drop. The 24-year-old was questionable to play in this contest, and it seems more likely than not that his day is done.

McConkey was questionable to play in this contest, and aggravated the injury in the first half. The wideouts next chance to play will be in Week 5 against Denver, but obviously he’s far from a guaranteed go for that game. He finished Week 4 with no catches on two targets.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
McConkey was limited in Wednesday’s practice, downgraded to a DNP on Thursday, and returned for another limited session on Friday. It looks like the team was just heavily managing his workload during the week, but that could continue into today’s game. McConkey has been the only modestly successful part of the offense this year, and the Chargers would be wise to keep him healthy, even if that means limiting his snaps. He remains in the WR2 mix, though the injury makes him a riskier bet than usual.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
McConkey was limited in Wednesday’s practice, didn’t practice on Thursday, and was listed as an observer despite a generous “limited” tag on Friday. Either way, not a great trend. McConkey should be treated as a true question mark. If he’s ruled out, Tre’ Harris and Quentin Johnston would get a boost, but given how the Chargers have played it’s hard to start anyone into the Seattle defense.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
Rhim shared a photo showing McConkey fully suited up in pads and a helmet, ostensibly ready for practice, but he didn’t run any routes or catch any passes with the rest of the Chargers’ wide receivers early on. We expect to see McConkey listed as a limited participant later today, but he seems to be truly questionable to play at this time. Stay tuned.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
This is unfortunate. McConkey was limited yesterday by a new foot injury. Today’s absence suggests he suffered the injury at Wednesday’s practice. He is firmly in the questionable column at this time. Chargers WR Tre’ Harris has outplayed WR Quentin Johnston thus far, but the Seahawks’ defense is a formidable foe.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
We’re unsure if it’s good that McConkey is no longer listed with his rib injury or bad that he’s dealing with something new. Either way, a limited session to start the week means McConkey should be available on Sunday. He was on the field for 61-of-69 snaps in Week 3 but managed just five targets. He still turned that into four grabs for 66 yards, which isn’t a bad performance given how awful the Chargers looked. Even if the offensive environment is a limiting factor for Ladd, he remains a low-end WR2 for Week 4.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
McConkey played on 61 of the Chargers’ 69 snaps and ran a route on 37 of their 43 dropbacks, but the Chargers were unable to get him going. He did have a nice toe-tapping catch on third-and-15 to set up the Chargers deep in the Bills’ red zone, but they were unable to punch it in. Teams are going to start realizing that McConkey is the only consistent option in this Chargers offense and try to take him away. That will make him a risky WR2 in fantasy leagues until the team can figure out how to fix the kinks in their new offensive scheme.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
He practiced in full all week and will presumably be more involved than he was in Week 2, when he was on a snap count. McConkey can be started as a mid-range WR2 despite Los Angeles’ struggles so far against a Bills defense that has allowed 30 points in each of their first two games.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
That makes two full practices for the Chargers’ star wide receiver. Unless he suffers a setback, McConkey will suit up on Sunday to take on the Bills. He was on the field for 24-of-34 passing plays last week, and logged just six snaps outside of that. Hopefully, he can stay on the field for almost all of QB Justin Herbert’s dropbacks this week. McConkey should be in fantasy lineups.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
McConkey was a full participant in practice after getting in a limited practice last week and playing in Week 2 against the Raiders. The 24-year-old was limited by both the injury and the Chargers’ stagnant offense but looks to be healing enough to practice fully this week. McConkey is trending to play Week 3 against the Bills, where he will be in the low-end WR2 mix.

John Metchie caught 3-of-5 targets for 37 yards in the Panthers’ Week 4 win over the Lions.

Metchie operated as the WR2 in the absence of both Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette but was unable to return any fantasy utility on a night second-year receiver Tetairoa McMillan set new career highs in both receptions and yardage. Fantasy managers that were coaxed into adding Metchie through the injuries in Carolina can safely return him to the waiver from whence he came.

Darren Waller caught 3-of-6 targets for 36 yards in the Panthers’ Week 4 win over the Lions.

Waller saw minimal involvement as quarterback Bryce Young leaned into his top option through the air, feeding Tetairoa McMillan 16 targets on 41 pass attempts in the absence of both Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette. Fantasy managers that scooped Waller off of waivers following his two-touchdown game in Week 2 are surely left disappointed in the recent returns, making Waller a potential drop candidate as the Panthers head to their bye.

Tetairoa McMillan caught 14-of-16 targets for 192 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers’ Week 4 win over the Lions.

McMillan set career highs in both receptions and yardage in the first half with nine catches for 147 yards before the break. He operated as the clear alpha in a pass attack without both Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette, routinely dusting everyone the Lions had at their disposal in an injury-ravaged secondary. While the receiving line surely turns heads, fantasy managers were left even more ecstatic about the way in which he was utilized, with the second-year receiver catching six passes for 94 yards and both touchdowns while aligned in the slot. Offensive coordinator Brad Idzik is providing structure, sequencing, and situational tendencies unlike anything fans had grown accustomed to when head coach Dave Canales was helming the offense, resulting in quarterback Bryce Young leading the league in passing while averaging more than 30 points per game through the first month of play. McMillan’s ceiling remains sky-high as a legitimate WR1 when the Panthers square off against the Eagles fin Week 6 following their bye.

Chuba Hubbard rushed 20 times for 122 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers’ Week 4 win over the Lions, adding seven yards on one reception.

Hubbard’s successes on the ground allowed the Panthers to remain balanced on a night they were without two of their top three wide receivers due to the absences of Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette, cashing in on two scores from 15 and two yards out. Hubbard appears to be locked into an RB1 workload in the absence of Jonathan Brooks, who will be out for 6-8 weeks after undergoing core muscle surgery. His 26 opportunities dwarfed the six of current backup AJ Dillon, the latter of whom gained just seven total yards on six touches. Fantasy managers can start Hubbard with confidence when the team returns from their bye to face the Eagles in Week 6.

Bryce Young completed 29-of-41 passes for 329 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers’ Week 4 win over the Lions, adding three yards on three carries.

The NFL’s passing leader through four weeks, pending Monday Night Football, took complete advantage of a defense still working to find their identity through the first month of play, leaning on his top option in Tetairoa McMillan throughout. Young now leads the league in passing and can only be caught by Tyler Shough on Monday Night Football, while only Kirk Cousins and Brock Purdy have more touchdown passes than Young’s nine. Even more impressive was the fact that he did what he did to the Lions without two of his top three receivers with both Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette out of action in Week 4. Young and the Panthers head to their Week 5 bye at 2-2 and alone atop the NFC South, soon to be joined by the winner on Monday night. He’ll be a legitimate QB1 when he returns to action against the Eagles in Week 6.

Sam LaPorta caught 8-of-13 targets for 84 yards and a touchdown in the Lions’ Week 4 loss to the Panthers.

LaPorta was the primary beneficiary against the single-high-heavy Panthers, which was interesting considering both of Carolina’s top two corners were absent from this game. The 13 targets were easily a season high for the veteran tight end, primarily the result of 52 Jared Goff pass attempts in what would become a negative game script. LaPorta routinely found space behind the linebackers as the primary outlet through pressure for Goff, and while it remains unlikely he repeats the lofty target totals, LaPorta’s red zone acumen keeps him a fantasy TE1 ahead of a very different matchup in the two-high-heavy Cardinals in Week 5.

Amon-Ra St. Brown caught 8-of-11 targets for 75 yards in the Lions’ Week 4 loss to the Panthers.

It was quite the disappointing outing for the fantasy darling considering the Panthers were without their top two corners, with opposing defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero dialing up consistent pressure that caused quarterback Jared Goff fits throughout the evening. Two of Goff’s incompletions that were directed at St. Brown were batted down at the line of scrimmage, ultimately enough to keep St. Brown out of the end zone for the first time this season. St. Brown remains a top-tier WR1 ahead of a potential shootout against the Cardinals in Week 5.

Jameson Williams caught 6-of-8 targets for 102 yards in the Lions’ Week 4 loss to the Panthers.

Fantasy managers had suffered through three down games with the middle-round pick before Williams was able to take advantage of a Carolina secondary missing its top two corners. He was kept out of the end zone for the fourth consecutive contest to start the 2026 season but returned his first fantasy-viable outing on the backs of 52 Jared Goff pass attempts. While that level of volume is unlikely to be the norm for the Lions, a Week 5 meeting with the Cardinals provides another opportunity for Williams to return value in a potential shootout. Williams will be an upside WR3.

Jahmyr Gibbs rushed 15 times for 46 yards and a touchdown in the Lions’ Week 4 loss to the Panthers, adding 31 yards on four receptions.

Gibbs had eclipsed 100 combined yards against all three opponents to start the season before the Panthers held him largely in check, with fantasy’s top asset cashing in on a one-yard touchdown in the second quarter to avoid a disastrous outing. The two teams were knotted at 16 entering the half but it was the Panthers that dictated terms following the break, winning the time of possession battle by over six minutes. Gibbs maintained an elite workload by seeing all but two backfield opportunities and every available carry on the evening, keeping his fantasy value sky-high ahead of a potential shootout against the Cardinals in Week 5.

Jared Goff completed 32-of-52 passes for 412 yards and one touchdown in the Lions’ 32-26, Week 4 loss to the Panthers.

Goff has now thrown a touchdown pass in 27 straight contests, a streak that started in the team’s Thanksgiving day contest against the Bears in 2024. He could move into sixth on the all-time list for consecutive games with a touchdown pass should he throw for at least one touchdown in each game this season. He came within four minutes of breaking that streak against the Panthers, needing a late touchdown to tight end Sam LaPorta to keep it alive in a game the Panthers dictated with their defense throughout. Goff also maintained his clean sheet of no interceptions thrown to start the season but it wasn’t enough to overcome a defense that ceded 445 yards of total offense to a Panthers team without two of their top three wide receivers in Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette. The Lions fall to 2-2, now two games behind the division-leading Vikings through the first month of play. Goff remains a surefire QB1 ahead of a potential shootout against the Cardinals in Week 5.
