Isaiah Likely caught 6-of-11 targets for 99 yards and a touchdown in the Giants’ Week 6 loss to the Saints.

Likely scored his fifth touchdown of the season and third over the last two games. He also caught a two point conversion, with all his scoring coming in the fourth quarter from J.J. McCarthy. The pass-heavy game script helped Likely salvage his fantasy day late in the game as he saw double-digit targets for the third straight game and fourth time this season. Now averaging 9.8 targets per game, Likely is squarely in the fantasy TE1 ranks heading into a tough Week 7 matchup against the Texans.

Theo Johnson has a neck injury and was limited in practice. Both tight ends should be able to suit up on Sunday. Coming off a career-high in targets (13), Likely is looking more like a top-five fantasy tight end every week. He should be in every fantasy lineup for his Week 6 date with the Saints.
  • NYG Tight End #9
Likely set a new career-high with 11 receptions in this one, and came up with two clutch touchdowns in the process. His first score came on a three-yard strike from Jameis Winston on a third-and-goal play that the Giants needed to stay in the game, cutting the Commanders’ lead to 19-13. Then, in the fourth quarter and with the Giants facing a fourth-and-eight, Likely turned an eight-yard reception upfield for a 17-yard touchdown that nearly looked like a fumble and turnover at the goal-line. Likely has been targeted 25 times in his last two games and has now gone for 66 or more yards in three of five games to start the season. He’s starting to show good chemistry with Jameis Winston and will be on the TE1 radar in next week’s game against the Saints.
  • NYG Tight End #9
The Giants’ passing offense is tethered to Jameis Winston’s scattershot arm, but Likely has a favorable matchup against the Commanders’ defense this week. He can be started as a low-end TE1 in this divisional showdown.
  • NYG Tight End #9
Likely is on track to face the Commanders’ fantasy-friendly defense in Week 5. Ideally, we will see him upgrade to full participation tomorrow. The Giants’ starting tight end warrants TE1 treatment thanks to his workload and plus matchup.
  • NYG Tight End #9
Likely evidently got a little banged up while handling a second-high 12 targets last week. His early-week participation puts him on track to face the Commanders in Week 5, but new injuries are worth keeping an eye on. He is a TE1 if active this week.
  • NYG Tight End #9
Likely’s 12 targets were a new season high as fill-in QB Jameis Winston finally got a little something going through the air. That included two heinous interceptions, but we were beginning to wonder if Winston was ever going to complete another pass. That he did stabilizes Likely’s low-end TE1 value, though we have no doubt the giveaways will stick in the coaching staff’s mind. This is still an offense that is going to work to hide the quarterback and potentially start trade acquisition J.J. McCarthy at some point this fall. Those variables limit Likely’s upside even if the floor is now looking a little better heading into Week 5 against the Commanders.
  • NYG Tight End #9
Likely’s yardage total came back to Earth last week with just 33 despite seeing 10 targets. It fell further today, as did the target total. On the plus side, he finished second on the team in receiving opportunities and finished with a 23 percent target share. Likely remains the team’s de facto No. 2 receiver behind Malik Nabers. That simply wasn’t worth much in terms of fantasy points today. He remains a solid TE1 bet for Week 4 against the Cardinals.
  • NYG Tight End #9
Although fantasy managers are thrilled with the team-leading 10 targets, the nature of those targets is cause for concern considering the uneven play from backup quarterback Jameis Winston. Starter Jaxson Dart was forced from the game with a knee injury on the team’s first possession and it would not be shocking to see him miss games considering the mechanism of his injury, leaving the offense in the hands of the inconsistent Winston. Even so, fantasy managers will be thrilled to start Likely in a plus matchup against the Titans in Week 3, particularly considering the multitude of injuries at the position throughout the league.
  • NYG Tight End #9
Making his debut for a new team, Likely didn’t wait long to prove he can be a featured tight end for the Giants, scoring on the final possession of the first half and first possession after the break. His first score highlighted his athleticism as he escaped coverage to the corner of the end zone from 15 yards out while his second trip to paint was reminiscent of a Nagy design for Travis Kelce in which the veteran tight end shed a chip-block in the flat for an easy score from two yards. Likely looks every bit of a fantasy TE1 but gets a difficult matchup against the Rams in Week 2. Even so, you’re starting him if you got him.

Graziano affirmed what every fantasy manager believes: Likely will probably be the team’s WR2 behind Malik Nabers this season. New York coaches, according to Graziano, “love the way he has embraced and evolved his relationship with Jaxson Dart since he has been in New York. Likely is a regular visitor to the quarterback room, and the connection he has formed with Dart on and off the field could pay major dividends.” Graziano said Likely could be Dart’s top option if Nabers needs time to get back to full speed as he recovers from his 2025 ACL injury. Likely profiles as an easy click for fantasy drafters who forgo the game’s elite tight ends.

CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz reports Jeremiyah Love (ankle) is not expected to play in Week 7 against the Broncos.

Love didn’t practice on Wednesday after missing Week 6. It doesn’t sound like he will practice at all this week. Tyler Allgeier and Bam Knight will split the backfield again this week. Allgeier out-carried Knight 18-15 last week, but Knight was far more effective, running for 80 yards in total. Allgeier posted just 38 yards. He still figures to be the lead runner this week, but Allgeier shine as a plug-and-play RB2 is waning headed into Week 7.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Jordan Love (back) was “pretty beat up” after the Packers’ Week 6 win over the Cowboys.

Love got checked out by the team’s chiropractor after the game and was listed as limited for yesterday’s practice. LaFleur told reporters they haven’t determined whether he will be limited for today’s session. Either way, he said yesterday that there is no chance Love misses Week 7, so the practice reports are a moot point. Love is a top-half QB1 for his date with Detroit this week.

Matt LaFleur said he has no concerns about Christian Watson’s ankle injury ahead of the Packers’ Week 7 game against the Lions.

The same is true of Matthew Golden, who is dealing with a shoulder issue. Both players were estimated as limited participants for Wednesday’s walkthrough. It doesn’t look like either wideout is at risk of missing the Packers’ upcoming shootout with Detroit. Watson is currently fifth in the league in receiving yards at 538. Golden is sixth at 501. Both players hold a spot in the WR1 ranks heading into Week 7.

NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports Saquon Barkley (hamstring) is expected to return to practice today and “is in line to play Monday against the Cowboys.”

Barkley will unfortunately return to a team without Jalen Hurts, but the Eagles’ offense is otherwise getting healthier ahead of a must-win matchup with the Cowboys. Barkley has been out since Week 4 because of the hamstring issue. Even in his first game back, we would expect Barkley to get the lion’s share of the backfield touches against a Dallas defense that is giving up the 10th-most fantasy points to running backs. Barkley would be, at worst, an RB2 for his Week 7 return.

Zach Charbonnet (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.

Charbonnet was expected to get a full week of practice, so this is no surprise. He is listed as a full participant for the first time since returning to practice and is trending to be activated off the physically unable to perform list ahead of a Week 7 matchup against the Chiefs. With Jadarian Price on injured reserve, he is headed for a sizeable share of the Seahawks’ ambiguous backfield. Charbonnet is in the RB3 ranks if activated.

Jordan Mason (thumb) is practicing in full for Week 7 against the Colts.

Mason is firmly on track to play in Week 7 against the Colts. He should tentatively be expected to lead the backfield in carries right away, with Aaron Jones potentially settling into a 1B role. The Colts’ defense is not an imposing unit, so both running backs are FLEX-viable this week.

Brock Bowers (hamstring/calf) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

Bowers is usually a limited practice participant due to his knee injury, before upgrading to full and eventually playing. However, this week is notable as he was listed with hamstring and calf injuries instead of a knee injury. He was still limited as usual on Wednesday but the new designations are something to keep an eye on throughout the week.

Mike Washington Jr. (foot/back) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.

In a semi-surprising twist of fate, the Raiders running back on the practice report with injuries is Washington, who was limited with foot and back injuries on Wednesday. Ashton Jeanty was not listed on the practice report. A limited practice indicates Washington is still trending to play Week 7, but with him appearing on the injury report and Jeanty off, any hopes for Washington achieving standalone fantasy value will have to wait.

Trent McDuffie (groin) did not practice Wednesday.

McDuffie injured his groin during last Thursday’s practice and did not play in Week 6 against the Cardinals. He starts out this week not practicing, putting him on the wrong side of questionable for Week 7. Also not practicing was LB Nate Landman (concussion). The Rams defense continues to lose players to injury; the Raiders face this defense in Week 7 and could see more fruitful fantasy performances than usual.

Budda Baker (groin/illness) did not practice Wednesday.

Baker played through the groin injury in Week 6 but starts out this week not practicing due to both the groin injury and an illness. Also not practicing for the Cardinals defense were DL Walter Nolen (ankle), S Andrew Wingard (knee), and CB Garrett Williams (knee). Each player will likely need to practice in some capacity in order to play in Week 7.
