Memphis Express QB Christian Hackenberg was benched at halftime of the team’s 21-17 loss to the Orlando Apollos in Week 3 of the Alliance of American Football season.
The former No. 51 overall pick was unsurprisingly intercepted on his very first throw of the game, then outdid himself by tossing another easy duck for the Apollos to pick off and take a 9-0 lead into the half. He was replaced by former Titans sixth-rounder Zach Mettenberger, who lit up the box score with 120 yards and two downfield touchdowns in only two quarters of play. Assuming Mettenberger is handed the reigns to the Express, Hackenberg’s stint as the team’s starter will complete with a dazzling 51.6% completion rate and dangerous 4.5 YPA. Coach Mike Singletary would be wise to permanently slot the perennial bust as the team’s No. 3 moving forward.

Keon Coleman didn’t earn a single official target in the Bills’ Week 15 win over the Patriots.
Technically, Coleman was targeted once and dropped the ball on a key fourth-down play, but the refs also called defensive pass interference, which negated the play. One week after tying for the team lead in targets, this was not the performance the Bills were hoping for.
Bet on Rivers, Taylor against Seahawks in Week 15
The FFHH crew shares their favorite bets for Week 15 of the NFL season, detailing why 44-year-old Philip Rivers will have over 151 passing yards and Jonathan Taylor will have over 14 receiving yards against the Seahawks.
  • HOU Running Back #26
Jawhar Jordan rushed 15 times for 101 yards in the Texans’ Week 15 win over the Cardinals
The Texans pounded the edge with Jordan, using him on a variety of pitches, one of which went for 50 yards, in Woody Marks’ absence. Jordan was Houston’s main early-down back in Marks’ absence, notching 28 snaps to lead the team. If Marks and Nick Chubb can’t be relied on next week, Jordan would figure to be a potential RB2 against the Raiders in Week 16.
  • BUF Wide Receiver #10
Khalil Shakir caught all five of his targets for 65 yards in the Bills’ Week 15 win over the Patriots.
The Bills weren’t able to get much going in the passing game, throwing for just 193 yards in the entire game, but Shakir was a big part of that, consistently making tough catches over the middle of the field. Sadly, given the state of Buffalo’s passing attack, Shakir needs to do almost all of his damage after the catch, which makes his fantasy ceiling a bit risky. He’s more of a low-end WR3 against the Browns next week.
  • CIN Wide Receiver #1
Ja’Marr Chase caught 10-of-16 targets for 132 yards in the Bengals’ Week 15 loss to the Ravens.
Chase saw a whopping 41 percent target share in this one, and was aided by a negative game script in the Bengals’ shutout loss. Chase played a role in Joe Burrow’s first interception of the afternoon when a high-thrown ball tipped off his hands and landed in the arms of Marlon Humphrey, but he returned on the following drive and immediately made a 34-yard reception. He was pivotal late in the game, hauling in three passes on an 80-yard drive that stalled with a pick six down near the Raven’s end zone, but Chase did about all he could for the Bengals and his fantasy managers. Now sitting on a 101-1,147-5 line, Chase will look to continue his impressive season next week against the Dolphins.
  • ARI Quarterback #7
Jacoby Brissett completed 27-of-40 passes for 249 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in the Cardinals’ 40-20, Week 15 loss to the Texans.
The Texans came up huge on a few key downs, including an end zone interception, to stop the overwhelming mass of positive energy that is Jacoby Brissett. The Cardinals went 1-for-3 on fourth-down gos and also left a two-point conversion on the turf, but anyone who had to start Brissett into one of the best defenses in the NFL was rewarded for their decision. Brissett will draw another tough matchup against a Falcons secondary that’s held down quarterbacks all season in Week 16, but it’s hard to say he’s not a QB1 the way he’s currently playing.
  • BUF Running Back #4
James Cook rushed 22 times for 107 yards and two touchdowns in the Bills’ Week 15 win over the Patriots, adding one touchdown catch as well.
The Patriots’ rushing defense has struggled since Milton Williams (ankle) was placed on the IR. James Cook took advantage of that on Sunday, consistently earning hard yards up the gut and then using a tremendous second-effort dive to get his first rushing touchdown. Cook was targeted three times in the passing game, but was kept in check apart from his five-yard touchdown catch (yes, you read that right). The Bills will need Cook again against a tough Browns defense next week in what should be another freezing, cold game.
  • HOU Quarterback #7
C.J. Stroud completed 22-of-29 passes for 260 yards and three touchdowns in the Texans’ 40-20, Week 15 win over the Cardinals.
The Texans did not punt until the fourth quarter. Stroud put a bullet on Nico Collins for a score on Houston’s opening possession over the middle, and Houston never looked back. He would later add an improvisational touchdown to Dalton Schultz and a third score to Collins to put the game out of reach after Arizona mounted a second-half comeback. The Texans will be handed a home game against the Raiders in Week 16, and with Stroud’s current form, he’s a viable-if-unexciting borderline QB1 in that one.
  • BAL Running Back #22
Derrick Henry rushed 11 times for 100 yards in the Ravens’ Week 15 win over the Bengals.
Henry’s day was buoyed by back-to-back runs of 29 and 24 yards in the third quarter. The Ravens’ RB1 failed to find the end zone for his fantasy managers for the second straight week, and will look to turn around his fortunes in Week 16 against the Patriots. Despite the low-volume day, Henry will remain in the RB1 mix next week.
  • WAS Running Back #22
Jacorey Croskey-Merritt rushed 18 times for 96 yards and a touchdown in the Commanders’ Week 15 win over the Giants.
He wasn’t targeted in the passing game. With Chris Rodriguez unavailable due to a grain injury, Croskey-Merritt was the bellcow for the Commanders; outrushing Jeremy McNichols by 91 yards (nine attempts for five yards) and McNichols also losing a fumble. The rookie tailback reached 90 yards for the first time since Week 5, and it seems likely he’ll see a similar amount of touches in Week 16 against the Eagles.
  • LAC Quarterback #10
Justin Herbert completed 19-of-29 attempts for 190 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Chargers’ Week 15 win against the Chiefs, adding two rushes for zero yards.
