  • NYJ Center #66

Wisconsin sophomore C Joe Tippmann (eye) is unlikely to play in Saturday’s game vs. Michigan.
Tippmann (6'6/320) was essentially a late scratch, as he was poked in the eye during pregame warmups. While the sophomore center hasn’t been completely ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Wolverines, it has been reported that he isn’t expected to play. Tippmann having to sit would be really bad news for a Wisconsin offense that has struggled to get going.

  • CHI Wide Receiver #10

Bears WR Luther Burden (quad) practiced in full Thursday.
Burden should be in the top 25 in the wideout rankings this week as the Bears try to lock up the No. 2 seed against the Lions. The rookie wideout is on track to be removed from the injury report on Friday. He’s coming off a breakout 8/138/1 game against the 49ers in Week 17.
Can Nabers be counted on coming off knee injury?
Matthew Berry, Jay Croucher and Connor Rogers share if Trey McBride should be a first-round pick in fantasy next year, how Malik Nabers could play with Jaxson Dart and why Justin Jefferson can still be a weapon in 2026.
  • CHI Wide Receiver #15
Bears WR Rome Odunze (foot) did not practice Thursday.
At this point, even if Odunze did practice on Friday, it’d be hard to trust him in fantasy lineups for Week 18. We expect the Bears to ramp him up next week to see if he can get involved in the playoffs. Odunze has not played since November 28.
  • BUF Tight End #86
Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (knee) was limited on Thursday.
Kincaid is on track to play in Week 18, though the knee issue is still seemingly bothering him. His backup, TE Dawson Knox, also remains limited by a knee injury of his own. The Bills (11-5) cannot overtake the Patriots (13-3), though they may be able to improve their Wild Card Weekend seeding. They face the Jets’ fantasy-friendly defense this week.
  • MIA Quarterback #5
Dolphins claimed QB Cam Miller, formerly of the Raiders.
Miller became a bit of a dynasty darling after the Raiders drafted him in the sixth round last April. The former North Dakota State passer was on two FCS national championship squads and earned first-team FCS All-American honors in 2024. We do not expect Miller to steal the Dolphins’ starting job, but bringing him aboard makes sense for a team that is searching for long-term answers at the position. At the very least, he can serve as a functional contributor in training camp and the preseason.
  • BAL Quarterback #8
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (back) said he’ll play against the Steelers in Week 18.
Jackson said he feels “great right now” and will wear extra padding in his back area on Sunday. The Ravens will just hope he can show them more of his 2024 form in his first game of the 2026 calendar year against the Steelers — a game they need to win to make the playoffs. Jackson practiced both Wednesday and Thursday. With some chance of re-injury, he’s likely a lower-end QB1 on the Week 18 slate.
  • LA Safety #37
Rams signed DB Quentin Lake to a three-year, $42 million extension through the 2028 season.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports that Lake will take home $25.7 million in guarantees. Lake had a career-best 72.9 PFF coverage grade playing mostly out of the slot this year. He has been out since Week 11’s game against the Seahawks with an elbow injury, and not-too-coincidentally, the Rams defense has struggled without him. He’s supposed to have a chance to return in Week 18 after being designated to return, but even if he doesn’t, looks likely to be back on the field for the playoffs.
  • CIN Running Back #30
Bengals RB Chase Brown (illness) was not seen practicing on Thursday.
Brown missed yesterday’s practice as well. Were he to sit out in Week 18 against the Browns, it would likely mean RB Samaje Perine handles a sizable, fantasy-friendly workload. Bengals rookie RB Tahj Brooks could also take on some rushing work. Players typically play through illness, but we have seen a few sickness-related game-day absences as of late. Brown still has a chance to play. Stay tuned.
  • DEN Linebacker #57
The Denver Post reports Dre Greenlaw (hamstring) is “expecting” to be healthy for the playoffs.
It goes without saying that Greenlaw will sit out this week’s game. After signing a huge free-agent deal with the Broncos, Greenlaw has played just 324 total snaps in the regular season. He did post a solid 74.8 PFF grade, and would be in line to be a difference-maker in the playoffs if he actually gets there healthy.
  • BUF Quarterback #17
Bills QB Josh Allen (foot) was not seen practicing on Thursday.
We expect to see Allen listed with a missed practice on the team’s official injury report shortly. Reports and observations regarding Allen’s health vary, and the Bills (11-5) cannot overtake the Patriots (13-3), though they can still jockey for playoff position in the Wild Card ranks. ESPN’s Adam Schefter believes the team could choose to rest Allen in favor of backup QB Mitchell Trubisky against the Jets’ generally soft defense this week. Trubisky would be a high-end QB2 in that scenario.
  • DET Offensive Coordinator
Lions OC John Morton said he would like to stay with the team in 2026, even if he loses his current role.
Morton told the Detroit Free Press’ Dave Birkett that he views the Lions’ organization as his “home.” While he would likely prefer to keep his current job, he is open to shifting duties, ostensibly to a lesser role. He served as a senior offensive assistant back in 2022. At the very least, a job like that could make sense for both Morton and the team.
