Jimmy Garoppolo completed 28-of-44 passes for 324 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions in the Raiders’ 23-18, Week 3 loss to the Steelers, adding seven yards on two carries.
Garoppolo was under consistent pressure, taking four sacks and going two complete quarters with nothing provided for the scoreboard. Two of his three interceptions were due to ridiculously poor decisions and two were thrown with completely clean pockets, highlighting his poor performance. That said, Garoppolo still managed to toss two touchdowns on the evening, both of which were caught by Davante Adams. The Las Vegas offense remained one of the most concentrated offenses in the league, with 32 of 44 passes thrown in the direction of Adams and Jakobi Meyers. Garoppolo will have to shake this one off in time to prepare for another tough test on the road against the Chargers in Week 4.
