Olave cleared the league’s concussion protocol this weekend after sustaining a brain injury last Sunday against the Falcons. He should be a target hog against Detroit with both Michael Thomas and Rashid Shaheed sidelined. Saints declared QB Jake Haener, CB Cameron Dantzler Sr., S Marcus Maye, RB Kendre Miller, WR Rashid Shaheed, OL Nick Saldiveri, and LB Pete Werner inactive against the Lions.

The Saints restructured Kamara’s contract last week, making it easier for them to move on from him this offseason if they choose to do so. They then signed Travis Etienne to a four-year, $52 million contract on the opening day of the legal tampering period. The Saints couldn’t make it more obvious that they are moving on from Kamara if they tried. The bigger question is whether he will retire or continue to play football on a new team. Schefter added that teams are tracking the situation, meaning there will likely be some GMs interested in signing or trading for Kamara if he doesn’t hang up the cleats. Kamara is best suited for primarily pass-catching duties at this point in his career, but plenty of teams could find a role for him in 2026.

Strange is a former first-round pick of the Patriots, but fell out of New England after three seasons. He joined the Dolphins for 2025 and started 14 games on the interior offensive line, allowing two sacks and committing one penalty. The 27-year-old now reunites with former Dolphins head coach and Chargers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel on a two-year pact. The Chargers offensive line needs more help but Strange will provide depth with a shot at starting at guard in 2026.

Otomewo made 12 appearances for the Steelers in 2025. Now entering his age-28 season, he appears to be no more than backend roster-type depth at this stage in his career.

Williams was initially a fourth-round pick by the Chiefs and started 12-of-65 games played. He saw a reduced role in 2025, playing just 17 defensive snaps and primarily appearing on special teams. The Titans sign him to a two-year deal as depth in the secondary and on special teams.

The Bills dealt with injuries at the punter spot last season, bringing in Wishnowsky as their third punter of the season. He went on to punt in 13 games, averaging 41.8 yards per punt. The 34-year-old will return to Buffalo for another season.

The deal has a maximum value of $6.1 million. Allen is an eight-year NFL backup with 19 career starts under his belt. The 30-year-old most recently played for the Lions and has attempted just three passes over the last three seasons. He reunites with the Bills, where he spent the 2023 season in Buffalo’s quarterback room behind Josh Allen.

The deal is fully guaranteed and keeps the seven-year veteran with the Jets on a team-friendly contract for the second consecutive season. Beck played only 110 offensive snaps a season ago as the team somewhat inexplicably went away from 21-personnel under former offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand. That could change with Frank Reich now at the helm in 2026.

The details of the contract have yet to be released. Harris used to be a regular starter for the Texans but was relegated primarily to special teams duties in 2025. He was credited with a single start and managed just 11 tackles across 15 games. He will hope to find more work on defense in Atlanta.

Mundt is a nine-year veteran with 74 receptions for 658 yards and four touchdowns in his career. Primarily a blocking tight end, Mundt’s best years were his three seasons with the Vikings, playing in all 51 games and catching all four of his career touchdowns in that span. He will have some interest from teams looking to add a blocking tight end to their room this offseason.

Dowdle will presumably form a one-two punch with incumbent starter Jaylen Warren in Pittsburgh after notching consecutive 1,000-yard seasons for the Cowboys and Panthers. It also signals a level of discomfort with former third-round pick Kaleb Johnson, who played sparingly during his rookie season following multiple special teams miscues. The financials of the contract were not immediately made available. Although unlikely to match the 235 carries he averaged the previous two seasons, Dowdle’s size and frame keep his touchdown equity high on the run-first Steelers.
