NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Quinshon Judkins suffered a broken leg in the Browns’ Week 16 loss to the Bills.
In addition to the broken leg, Judkins also suffered a dislocated ankle and is being evaluated for a knee injury. It’s a brutal end to the season for the rookie running back, who entered the day with a 222-805-7 rushing line. Hopefully, tests on his knee don’t reveal any additional damage, but Judkins will have to undergo surgery to repair the multiple injuries he suffered in Week 16’s loss. It’s impossible to put a timeline on when he could return at this point, but Judkins solidified himself as the Browns’ top option in the backfield this season and is a safe bet to return to the bell cow role next season once he’s healed up.
