Isaac TeSlaa caught his only target for 18 yards in the Lions’ Week 18 win over the Bears.

TeSlaa emerged as a primary option for the Lions in Week 13 after Amon-Ra St. Brown departed with injury, finishing off the back half of his rookie season as the clear WR3 for the Lions. That effectively shifted Kalif Raymond into a situational role, something likely to carry forward into the 2026 season. TeSlaa ends his rookie year with 16 catches for 239 yards, flashing abilities in the red zone through six touchdowns. Although unlikely to immediately see his role grow while playing alongside St. Brown and Jameson Williams, TeSlaa appears likely to step into a bigger role when one of the main receivers goes down. That gives him legitimate best ball upside considering he will be playing for an offense that has finished in the top five in scoring in each of the previous four seasons.

Kyle Williams caught all three of his targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots’ Week 5 win against the Raiders.

Williams caught a beautifully thrown 49-yard score from Drake Maye, who had four touchdown passes to go along with 376 yards through the air in the blowout victory. Williams ran a route on 19 of the team’s 42 drop backs with Mack Hollins on injured reserve. He also came down with a long grab in the second half that put the Pats in position to take a four-score lead. A.J. Brown’s eventual return to the New England offense — as soon as this week against the Jets — will further limit Williams’ snaps and routes. He won’t be playable in most formats going forward.

Brock Purdy completed 19-of-29 passes for 189 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the 49ers’ 32-29, Week 5 win over the Seahawks.

Purdy and the 49ers made the most of several short fields in this one. After an interception by Sam Darnold on the Seahawks’ first drive of the game, Purdy led a short 18-yard drive that he capped with a two-yard touchdown pass to Mike Evans to give the Niners an early lead. Purdy would orchestrate a long scoring drive in the fourth quarter, completing seven passes for 89 yards, with his final completion resulting in a seven-yard touchdown to Brandin Cooks. The Seahawks became the first team to sack Purdy this season, bringing him down three times in the backfield in the second half, but Purdy was able to evade pressure for the entire second half. Purdy and the Niners get a juicy Week 6 matchup next Monday against the Commanders, where he will profile as a solid QB1.

Courtland Sutton caught 2-of-3 targets for 18 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos’ Week 5 win over the Chargers.

It’s the first touchdown for Sutton on the season, and it tied the game at 17-17. The 31-year-old was unable to find room versus the Chargers’ secondary, and for the fifth-straight week, Sutton was held under 50 yards. His size could give the smaller Seahawks’ defensive backs trouble, but he’s essentially a touchdown-dependent FLEX for Week 6 against Seattle.

Jaylen Waddle caught 2-of-5 targets for 19 yards in the Broncos’ Week 5 win over the Chargers while adding a nine-yard rush.

Give some credit to the Chargers’ defense, but this was an ugly game for both passing attacks. Waddle has his second dud in three weeks, and doesn’t appear to have great chemistry with Bo Nix thus far. No one really does, to be fair, as no receiver caught more than four passes for Denver. Waddle is a volatile WR2, and that volatility becomes more, well, volatile for Week 6 against the Seahawks.

Evan Engram caught all four targets for 55 yards in the Broncos’ Week 5 win over the Chargers.

Engram did a large portion of his damage on a busted coverage that allowed him to pick up 34 yards and come just short of a receiving score. The 55 yards are a season high, and it’s encouraging to see more involvement after being a non-factor in the previous two weeks. Engram will hope to build on this effort in Week 6 against the Seahawks, but fantasy managers shouldn’t bet on it.

Keaton Mitchell rushed 6 times for 11 yards in the Chargers’ Week 5 loss to the Broncos while adding three receptions for 18 yards.

The only positive here was that Mitchell was somewhat involved in the pass game, but it was all of the check-down variety. The injuries to the Los Angeles offensive line just won’t open many holes right now, and even if Mitchell has looked more spry than Omarion Hampton, there’s more risk than reward having him in a lineup right now.
