Ravens selected SMU TE Matthew Hibner with the No. 133 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Hibner (6’4/251) is a sixth-year senior who began his career as a reserve tight end and special teamer with Michigan. He transferred to SMU prior to the 2024 season and became a starter, tallying 55 receptions for 804 yards and eight touchdowns across two seasons with the Mustangs. Displaying straight-line speed with a 4.57 40-yard dash at the combine, Hibner has the ability to be a solid downfield target. He split time between the slot, wing, and inline roles in college, showing versatility as a receiver. Hibner isn’t imposing as a blocker and has limited college production, but his extensive special teams experience will help in giving him a chance to stick on an NFL roster. In Baltimore he will join Mark Andrews and Durham Smythe in the tight end room. The Ravens had traditionally been among the league leaders in multiple tight end set usage.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Brian Branch (Achilles) is “close” to returning to the field.

Campbell didn’t say when he expects Branch to return, but said the fourth-year safety “looks really good” as he continues to recover from a torn Achilles he suffered in Week 14 last season. The Lions haven’t opened Branch’s 21-day window for return, which will be the first sign that he’s nearing a comeback. Branch totaled 75 tackles, five TFLs, and 2.5 sacks for the Lions in 12 games last season and will be a welcome addition to a secondary that has allowed the most passing yards in the league through the first three weeks.
Collins gives Texans boost in expected return
Patrick Daugherty and Denny Carter discuss the impact of Nico Collins' potential return to the lineup for the Houston Texans offense as they try to get their first win of the season in Week 4.

Nico Collins (hamstring) was seen practicing on Friday.

We’re still waiting for the final injury report to drop, but Collins appears set to return in Week 4 after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury. Collins was listed as limited in Wednesday’s and Thursday’s practices and has been trending in the right direction all week. We’ll check back in when the Texans officially confirm Collins’ status ahead of the weekend.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Warren Brinson (groin) will miss “a significant amount of time.”

Brinson has been dealing with a calf injury and has not played a game this season for the Packers. Now, the second-year player is likely headed to injured reserve with a new groin injury, per LaFleur. Brinson totaled 13 tackles and a half sack in 11 games played last season.

Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley said Jaylen Wright (foot) should be good to go for Week 4 against the Vikings.

Wright was a full participant in Thursday’s and Friday’s practices, which is a good sign for his Week 4 availability. If he doesn’t draw a questionable tag later in the day, we’ll go ahead and assume that the third-year back will be on the field when the Dolphins visit the Vikings. Wright should be in line for a decent day as far as volume is concerned, but it’s hard to invest much hope in him or Ollie Gordon, who will split work with De’Von Achane (knee) out for the remainder of the season. It’s hard to know how the touches could be distributed here, but fantasy managers shouldn’t be rushing to put either back in their lineups against a stout Vikings defense.

Caleb Douglas (ankle) will not play in Week 4 against the Vikings.

Douglas will miss his second straight game with an ankle injury, paving the way for fellow rookie Chris Bell to build on his Week 3 performance in which he went for 4-67-0 on eight targets. Bell and all Dolphins pass-catchers will be tough for fantasy managers to trust as anything more than WR4s on the road against a Vikings defense that could give them fits all afternoon.

Breece Hall (quad) will not play in Week 4 against the Bears.

Hall was initially mentioned as being week-to-week when he was diagnosed with his quad injury, so he was never really considered a candidate to play in Week 4 despite the team waiting until the end of the week to rule him out. With Hall out, the Jets will look to Braelon Allen to handle most of the backfield duties. Allen will profile as a solid RB2 candidate with a chance for more upside in what could be a high-volume day against the Bears. In addition to Hall, the Jets also ruled out OG Dylan Parham (knee), TE Mason Taylor (thumb), and LB Kiko Mauigoa (quad) for Week 4.

Adonai Mitchell (finger) will not play in Week 4 against the Bears.

Mitchell was a DNP in Wednesday’s and Thursday’s practices, so the team’s decision to rule him out on Friday doesn’t come as a surprise. Mitchell will now aim to return in Week 5 against the Browns. Rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq, who saw a season-high eight targets last week in Mitchell’s absence, will be on the fantasy radar as a fringe TE1 with Mitchell again sidelined.

Commanders head coach Dan Quinnsaid Chig Okonkwo (hamstring) will play in Week 4 against the Colts.

After missing the last two games with a hamstring injury, Okonkwo will suit up when the Commanders take on the Colts in London. The 27-year-old tight end caught 2-of-3 targets for 16 yards in the Commanders’ Week 1 loss to the Eagles and ran 22 routes before exiting late in the third quarter. He has the chance to turn into a meaningful contributor in Washington’s passing game, but fantasy managers shouldn’t rush to put him in their lineups until we get a better sense of his role over the next few weeks. In addition to Okonkwo, Quinn also said LB Frankie Luvu (groin) would return in Week 4.

ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio reports “as we hear it, Tyson Bagent has gotten the first-team reps so far this week.”

While head coach Ben Johnson will do his best to keep his QB1 for Week 4’s game against the Jets under wraps, it’s hard to slip things past all the reporters who are present during the media portion of practice. With reports that Bagent, who is listed as the Bears’ QB2 on the depth chart, is taking first-team reps, it’s safe to assume things are trending toward him making the start this week. We may not get a clear answer from the team on who the starter will be until kickoff, which makes both Bagent and Case Keenum hard to trust for fantasy managers who may have been considering them in 2QB/Superflex leagues.

Commanders HC Dan Quinn said Marcus Mariota will start in Week 4 against the Colts.

Jayden Daniels felt like a long shot to play despite traveling with the team to London and logging back-to-back limited practices to start the week. Now, Quinn has confirmed that Mariota will get at least one more start before Daniels possibly returns in Week 5 to face the Giants. Mariota led the Commanders to an upset win over the Seahawks in Week 3, throwing for 183 yards and three touchdowns, and now faces a Colts defense that was torched in Weeks 1 and 2 by Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes. While we shouldn’t expect Mariota to put up numbers like Jackson and Mahomes, he will be firmly on the streaming radar in 2QB/Superflex leagues.
