LOS ANGELES – Mike Weir withdrew from the Northern Trust Open seven holes into his second round because of an elbow injury.
Weir opened with a 7-over 78 on Thursday and was 4-over for the day on Friday before withdrawing.
The two-time champion at Riviera now has nine career WDs.
Brian Davis also withdrew from the tournament.
