Here are some golf options that actually will make you feel as though you got your moneys worth, or at least reasonably close.

Greg Nash designed wide fairways with multiple strategic options over some of the most rugged terrain youll find in Nevada. With two courses, the Lexington and the Concord, and a rack rate of $150, The Revere at Anthem is an affordable alternative to the more overpriced, under-designed layouts that litter the region.
Since opening a few years ago, Wolf Creek Golf Club, designed by Dennis and John Rider has become the number one destination course in the Vegas area. Stunningly beautiful said golfer Charles Pearson. The holes tumble up, down, around, and through the rugged mountains. The course is offering a special $85 rate between now and Sept. 1. The course will close from Sept. 1-14 for overseeding.
Of the two courses at the Lake Las Vegas Resort, Tom Weiskopfs The Falls, is the better choice. Though it charges $275 for the high season rack rate, shoulder season rates drop to $150.
If youre a high roller or a spendthrift, youll have no problem parting with the $500 it takes to book a round on either Tom Fazios Shadow Creek, or Rees Jones Cascata, two of the highest tickets in golf. Taking the country club for a day theme ad absurdum, exorbitant greens fees at each course include transportation to and from the course, lunch, a yardage book from the course, views of manufactured waterfalls, and a locker with a celebritys name on it so you can impress your friends by telling them you changed your socks in the same place as Dennis Haysbert or Edward Norton.
