Hassani Gravett (return to competition conditioning) is available on Sunday against the Celtics.
Gravett missed the team’s last game after entering league protocols in the middle of the previous game. He’ll split time running point guard with Mychal Mulder and Tim Frazier.

Hassani Gravett (return to competition conditioning) is listed as questionable against the Celtics on Sunday.
Gravett has been a decent source of assists over the past few weeks with Cole Anthony (ankle), Markelle Fultz (knee), and Jalen Suggs (thumb) out. Tim Frazier started at point guard last game with Gravett in protocols, but Gravett should return to the starting lineup when he’s cleared. He’s a stretch DFS play as a starter.

  • FA Point Guard #12
Hassani Gravett (health and safety protocols) played 19 minutes in Tuesday’s 127-110 loss to the Bucks, recording a line of five points (2-of-4 FGs), three rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer.
As strange as the last month has been in the NBA, Tuesday night took things to another level. Gravett, who started at the point for Orlando, was pulled mid-game due to health and safety protocol concerns. Following the game, the Magic announced that Gravett has officially entered the league’s protocols. And the timing couldn’t be worse for Gravett, who signed his second 10-day contract with the Magic on Monday. If he has to miss multiple games, that would open the door for Tim Frazier to take on more playing time. Frazier played 21 minutes off the bench Tuesday, finishing with five points (2-of-8 FGs), three rebounds, three assists, and one 3-pointer.

Hassani Gravett has signed a second, 10-day contract with the Magic.
Gravett actually started on Sunday and he came through with a decent stat line of 12 points, five boards, one assist, two steals, one block and three triples, so he earned this second, 10-day stint. Once this second 10-day deal expires, the Magic will need to decide if they’d like to extend a rest-of-season offer to Gravett, or let him walk.

Hassani Gravett accounted for 12 points (4-of-10 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, one assist, two steals, one block, and three 3-pointers in Sunday’s 91-83 loss to the Heat.
Gravett was back in the starting lineup for this one, as Cole Anthony (conditioning) was ruled out a few hours before tip-off. The rookie guard established a new career-high in points while also recording his first blocked shot as an NBA player, recording a full stat line in the process. With Anthony likely back in action when the Magic host the Bucks Tuesday night, there’s no need to grab Gravett off of the waiver wire.

  • FA Point Guard #12
Hassani Gravett, Gary Harris, Franz Wagner, Admiral Schofield, and Wendell Carter Jr. will start Sunday’s game against the Heat.
Gravett is back in the starting lineup, as Cole Anthony (injury management) was ruled out Sunday morning. The former South Carolina standout is worth streaming in deep leagues, but in all honesty, there will be better options to choose from on most waiver wires. Wagner and Carter Jr. are the starters who offer the most with regard to fantasy value, followed by Harris.

  • FA Guard #50
Cole Anthony (right ankle sprain) returned from a three-game absence and double-doubled in a start, totaling 22 points (7-of-16 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), five rebounds, 11 assists, one steal, one block and one turnover in a loss to the Pelicans on Thursday.
Anthony picked back up right where he left off and recorded his first double-double in more than a month. He has a couple duds sprinkled in his game log, but there’s no reason to complain when those show up from a guy that probably wasn’t even originally selected on draft night. His only issue is his health, as he’s already missed about one-third of Orlando’s games thus far, but if he stays healthy, he has a chance to be the waiver wire hero of the season. With Anthony back, Hassani Gravett returned to the bench and was invisible, so feel free to ignore him.

  • FA Guard #50
Cole Anthony (right ankle sprain) is available for Thursday’s game against the Pelicans.
Anthony is back in action after having missed Orlando’s last three games, giving the team a welcome infusion of talent at the point guard position. The second-year guard has been one of the league’s most improved players and is providing 5th-round value in 9-cat per Basketball Monster. With Anthony back in action, Hassani Gravett will return to the bench. The few who may have considered streaming Gravett no longer need to.

  • FA Point Guard #12
Hassani Gravett started at point guard for the Magic on Wednesday and hit 3-of-6 shots and two 3-pointers for a career-high eight points, five rebounds and five assists in 25 minutes after starting in a win over the Hawks.
Who he play for? Well, he used to play for South Carolina and has appeared in just three games this season so the career high in his first start isn’t too surprising. Maybe he’s worth a DFS flier with two more games this week but as soon as some of the Magic regulars get out of protocols, Gravett should become invisible again. He’ll obviously disappear once Cole Anthony is able to play again.

  • Small Forward #25
The Magic have signed Admiral Schofield, BJ Johnson, Aleem Ford and Hassani Gravett, all from the Lakeland Magic, via 10-day hardship exemptions.
The Orlando injury report takes up the whole screen so they’re just trying to field a team so they can compete Friday night against the Heat. We may see some random eruption from one of these guys if they play enough, but it’s really just emergency depth, so feel free to disregard.
