    Titans waived FB Jalston Fowler.
UDFA RB Dalyn Dawkins has been promoted from the practice squad to take Fowler’s roster spot. Fowler had yet to play an offensive snap this season. The Titans would rather use his spot on a true runner.

Titans signed No. 108 overall pick FB Jalston Fowler to a four-year contract.
Fowler was probably over-drafted in the fourth round, but can do a little bit of everything. He averaged 6.59 yards per carry at Alabama, and displayed soft hands. He’s not a road grader as a lead blocker, but should be an upgrade on Jackie Battle.

The Titans are impressed with rookie FB Jalston Fowler’s ability to catch passes.
Seven of his 19 catches at Alabama went for touchdowns. “It was just a goal-line thing,” said Fowler. “We ran a couple of plays on the goal line, with me just bluffing, going into the flat and scoring touchdowns.” A sharp blocker with good size, Fowler paved the way for T.J. Yeldon’s 979 rushing yards last season. The Titans are hoping Fowler will add speed to his already impressive skill set by losing 5-10 pounds this offseason.

Titans FB Jalston Fowler exited the team’s Week 3 game with an apparent left knee injury.
Fowler injured himself at the end of a broken two-point conversion attempt which would have sent the game to overtime. Fowler had his left knee caught under a tackler as he was dragged down.

Titans selected Alabama FB Jalston Fowler with the No. 108 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft.
Fowler (5'11/254) was a jack of all trades for the Crimson Tide, seeing action at fullback, tailback, tight end, H-back, and playing special teams. More Le’Ron McClain than Lorenzo Neal, Fowler averaged 6.59 YPC and caught seven touchdown passes in college, but isn’t quite a hole-clearing lead blocker. He’ll have to show well on special teams to last in the NFL.

Falcons signed FB Jalston Fowler, formerly of the Seahawks.
Fowler was among the Seahawks’ first training camp cuts last week. In Atlanta, the fullback will be tasked with opening up running lanes for Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman.

    Titans waived FB Jalston Fowler.
Fowler wasn’t used much this season, playing just 94 snaps. With OLB Derrick Morgan sidelined, the Titans promoted LB Joshua Carraway in a corresponding move.
