Javin DeLaurier scored 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting (1-of-2 3-pointers) with seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, and three blocks in 26 minutes, but the Hawks fell to the Knicks 104-85 on Monday night from Las Vegas.
DeLaurier was very efficient with his touches on Monday shooting 77.8% from the floor. Unfortunately, the frontcourt in Atlanta is likely not where DeLaurier will see any significant minutes, so unless another team is willing to take a flyer on him, he likely will spend a lot of time in the G-League or elsewhere. Sharife Cooper, the team’s second-round pick, scored six points on 3-of-11 shooting, going 0-of-2 from the three-point line. Cooper also likely will spend some time in the G-league, and should not have an impact in fantasy.
