NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports AAF RB Jhurell Pressley is facing a two-game suspension by the NFL.
The ban is for a “pending issue.” A big-play machine in college, Pressley went undrafted in 2016 despite running a 4.4 at his Pro Day. He will likely get another NFL shot after leading the AAF with 431 rushing yards, but this suspension clouds his future.

Packers claimed RB Jhurell Pressley off waivers from the Vikings.
An UDFA out of New Mexico, Pressley had an unimpressive preseason, taking the rock 28 times for only 80 yards. He’s a top-notch athlete who catches passes, but will be practice squad bound at one point or another.

DE Martin Ifedi, LB Josh Keyes and QB Matt Simms were waived/injured. It’s a quiet list for the defending NFC champions.

Vikings signed New Mexico RB Jhurell Pressley.
Pressley (5'10/206) was a human highlight reel in the Lobos’ ground attack, wrapping his career with a 394-2,725-35 rushing line on an absurd 6.92 yards per carry. Snubbed by the Combine, Pressley put his speed on display at the Lobos’ Pro Day, clocking 4.4-flat and pumping 25 bench-press reps. Pressley played in an option offense at New Mexico and only had 18 career catches, but he’s an intriguing flyer based on his big-play running ability. He has a lot of similarities to new teammate Jerick McKinnon.
