Arkansas freshman WR Ketron Jackson is making a strong case to receive significant playing time this season.
Jackson (6'2"/205) was an early enrollee this spring but was slowed by a knee injury that required a bulky brace. Though much was expected of the four-star freshman, it was clear he couldn’t let loose like he wanted to. With the knee now fully healed, Jackson has been putting on a show in training camp, exerting his will upon smaller cornerbacks and making big plays downfield. When asked about the promising freshman wideout, OC Kendal Briles said, “He was an early-enrollee kid. Now, he’s healthy and he’s the Ketron we thought he was going to be. He just has to continue to grow and progress, and you’ll see him on Saturdays.” Jackson is competing with Trey Knox and Tyson Morris for the right to replace departed WR Mike Woods in the Razorbacks’ starting lineup.

Uncommitted four-star 2021 WR Ketron Jackson plans on taking an official visit to Auburn this spring.
Auburn’s hire of former Arkansas HC Chad Morris as offensive coordinator is paying off in this recruitment, as Jackson told 247Sports that he was in tight with Morris and that it was Morris who pressed for an upcoming official. Mission accomplished, it would appear. Beyond his Auburn OV, the 6-foot-2, 186-pound Jackson is planning a number of unofficial visits for when the dead period lifts, with Baylor, Arkansas, Kansas and LSU all potential players for spring trips. The Royse City, Texas, native comes equipped with a graceful stride when getting to top speed, as well as palatable length and a competitive nature with jump balls. On the 247Sports composite board, Jackson slots in as the No. 165 overall prospect in the 2021 class.
