Caris LeVert, Garrett Temple, Joe Harris, Rodions Kurucs and Jarrett Allen will start against the Kings on Friday.
Kurucs and Temple will replace Lance Thomas and Tyler Johnson in the first unit for today’s game, but none of these guys make for great DFS targets.

  • NBA Point Guard #28
Tyler Johnson, Garrett Temple, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, Lance Thomas and Rodions Kurucs will start against the Bucks on Tuesday.
Caris LeVert (thigh) and Joe Harris (back) are both getting the night off, so guys like Johnson and TLC will be asked to do a lot more than they’re used to on offense, and it’ll be interesting to see how Jamal Crawford is utilized in a bench role. Johnson and TLC are inconsistent, but they may be worth considering in DFS given the lack of offensive options around them today.

  • FA Power Forward #00
Rodions Kurucs will start at center on Tuesday against the Bucks, with Jarrett Allen (rest) unavailable.
The Nets don’t have any depth behind Kurucs, so it’ll be interesting to see what they do if he gets into foul trouble. He hasn’t done much in the first two Bubble games as Allen’s backup, but perhaps he’ll be worth considering as a DFS punt play today, as his minutes could trend towards the 40s. Lance Thomas will start at PF, but he’s an unenticing fantasy target.

  • NBA Power Forward #42
Lance Thomas will start Sunday’s game against the Wizards.
Thomas replaced Timothe Luwawu in the starting lineup for Friday’s opener against Orlando, playing 18 minutes and tallying six points, two rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer. The lineup change proved to be even more beneficial to Luwawu, who scored a team-high 24 points with four rebounds and five 3-pointers in 22 minutes. Neither player is a must-have in any fantasy format.

  • NBA Power Forward #42
Lance Thomas will start at the four against the Magic on Friday.
It’s not what fantasy managers wanted to say since Rodions Kurucs (left hip) is available to play. Thomas is about as underwhelming as it gets on the stat sheet so he’s still an easy fade in most formats. Chris Chiozza, Caris LeVert, Joe Harris and Jarrett Allen will also start according to Nets PR.

  • NBA Power Forward #42
Lance Thomas made his Nets debut on Wednesday with three points, one rebound and one assist in 13 minutes.
Thomas was signed for emergency depth due to the spate of injuries, illnesses and Orlando opt-outs on their roster. The veteran will likely have a bigger impact in the locker room than he will on the court.

  • NBA Power Forward #42
Nets forward Lance Thomas took part in the team’s practice Saturday in Orlando.
Thomas officially signed with the Nets on July 14, joining a roster that has been decimated by COVID-19. He’ll give the team another option in the frontcourt, but Thomas offers little in the way of fantasy value.

  • NBA Power Forward #42
Lance Thomas has officially signed with the Nets.
Even if Thomas gets minutes, he won’t have any fantasy value.

  • NBA Power Forward #42
The Nets are closing in on a deal with veteran forward Lance Thomas.
Thomas has never been a fantasy option unless you’re in a league with David Fizdale who once compared him to Draymond Green. The Nets have already added Jamal Crawford, Michael Beasley and Donta Hall for the restart so Thomas appears to be the fourth reinforcement. Beasley and Thomas could battle it out for the backup PF role behind Rodions Kurucs.

  • NBA Power Forward #42
Lance Thomas is “on the Nets’ radar” to fill a roster spot in Orlando.
Taurean Prince was the most recent Nets player to withdraw from the season’s resumption, after he tested positive for coronavirus. At this point, Brooklyn is really just evaluating young guys in the bubble, since their playoff hopes get dimmer by the day. Thomas would provide serviceable two-way depth, but is a very unlikely DFS target.
