Tre Jones scored 23 points on 9-of-19 shooting (1-of-3 3-pointers) and added four rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes as the Spurs lost to the Bulls 92-89 in summer league action on Tuesday.
Similar to other second-year players, Jones is using summer league to gain some experience and prove that he belongs as he is matching up against many players who do not have NBA experience. Jones certainly looked more confident and assertive on Tuesday evening. San Antonio also got 20 points from Jaylen Morris who went 8-of-11 from the floor (3-of-4 3-pointers) with five rebounds one assist and one steal.
