Pirates acquired RHP Aaron Pribanic, C Jeff Clement and three other minor-leaguers from the Mariners for RHP Ian Snell and SS Jack Wilson.
Pribanic had a 7-6 record, a 3.21 ERA and a 54/26 K/BB ratio in 17 starts (87 innings) with Single-A Clinton. The 22-year-old former Nebraska Cornhusker has a solid, mid-90s fastball but needs to develop a couple of secondary pitches before he can truly be considered a prospect.
