Athletics selected INF Brallan Perez from the Orioles in the Triple-A phase of the Rule 5 draft.

Baltimore got Perez from the Rangers this past August for international pool money but opted not to protect him. The 21-year-old infielder owns a .297/.392/.359 career batting line in the minor leagues. He made it to Triple-A for a spell in 2017.
