Angels acquired LHP Brandon Sisk from the Royals for RHP Ervin Santana.
Sisk has zero major league experience, but the 27-year-old left-hander from Palestine, Texas registered a promising 2.54 ERA and 73/32 K/BB ratio in 67 1/3 innings this season at Triple-A Omaha. He could be in the mix for a spot in the Angels’ bullpen next March.

Angels purchased the contract of LHP Brandon Sisk from Triple-A Salt Lake.
Sisk, 27, was acquired from the Royals last month in exchange for Ervin Santana. The southpaw posted a 2.54 ERA and 72/32 K/BB ratio over 67 1/3 innings at the Triple-A level this year and contribute out of the bullpen in 2013.

Angels optioned LHP Brandon Sisk and OF Travis Witherspoon to Triple-A Salt Lake and reassigned RHP A.J. Schugel to minor league camp.
Sisk, who was acquired from the Angels over the offseason in the Ervin Santana trade, should make his major league debut at some point in 2013. He posted a 2.54 ERA and 72/32 K/BB ratio over 67 1/3 innings at the Triple-A level in 2012.

Brandon Sisk will undergo Tommy John surgery.
Sisk was acquired over the offseason from the Royals in the Ervin Santana deal. He’ll obviously miss all of the 2013 season.

Mariners re-signed LHP Brandon Sisk to a minor league contract.
Sisk finished last season with the Mariners’ Double-A affiliate after spending most of the year with the Somerset Patriots of the independent Atlantic League. The 31-year-old owns a 3.06 ERA over 227 appearances in the minors, but he has yet to earn a call-up to the majors.

Nationals signed LHP Brandon Sisk to a minor league contract.
Sisk announced the deal on his personal Twitter account. The 29-year-old was released from the Angels’ Triple-A affiliate this season after allowing 16 earned runs in 11 innings. He’s never appeared in the majors.

Angels sent LHP Brandon Sisk outright to Triple-A Salt Lake.
Part of some housecleaning for the Angels, who removed some players from their 40-man roster Tuesday. Sisk, who was acquired in the Ervin Santana deal last winter, didn’t pitch at all this season following Tommy John surgery.

Royals reassigned LHP Brandon Sisk to minor league camp.
Nothing surprising here. Sisk allowed one run over two innings of work this spring. The 25-year-old left-hander posted a 4.46 ERA and 63/28 K/BB ratio over 68 2/3 innings as a reliever with Double-A Northwest Arkansas last season.
