Pirates acquired 1B Callan Moss and LHP Evan Sisk from the Royals for LHP Bailey Falter.
The 21-year-old slugger signed with the Royals as an undrafted free agent in 2024. He is enjoying a solid all-around season at High-A Quad Cities, slashing .270/.372/.418 with seven homers, 70 RBI, 14 stolen bases and an 87/53 K/BB ratio in 393 plate appearances. While he wasn’t included in the team’s top-30 prospects by most publications, it’s not hard to see the upside that Moss possesses offensively.
