Rollins

Rollins is the lone player in the big deal Friday that was included by Baseball America before the season among the Blue Jays’ top 30 prospects. He’s had a nice year, though, holding a 2.78 ERA and 75/36 K/BB ratio over 77 2/3 innings at Low-A. The 22-year-old is obviously not close to making an impact at the big league level.

Rollins returns to the Mariners to provide an extra arm from the left side in the bullpen. As they have been so many times this season, expect his stay with the M’s to be relatively short.

Rollins has posted a 7.04 ERA over nine appearances with the big club this season. He’ll give the club another lefty out of the bullpen.

Rollins had best keep his suitcase packed. Since June 17, the Mariners have yo-yo’ed him between Triple-A and the majors five times. The M’s haven’t felt particularly hard-pressed to actually utilize the 26-year-old southpaw, though, as he has pitched just four innings with the big league club this season (no runs allowed in that space).

Rollins made one appearance with the Mariners earlier this month and owns a shiny 2.05 ERA and 26/1 K/BB ratio over 30 2/3 innings at the Triple-A level this season. He’ll serve as bullpen depth this weekend versus the Cardinals.

Rollins has been back and forth from Triple-A to the majors many times this season, holding a 7.04 ERA over nine appearances with the big club. He’ll be back up in September, if not before.

Rollins boasts a 2.36 ERA and 22/0 K/BB ratio across 26 2/3 innings this season. He’ll be used in low-leverage situations initially.

Rollins was only with the big league club for one day as an extra bullpen arm while they figured out how to replace Wade Miley in the starting rotation. He’ll continue to provide bullpen depth at Triple-A and should be back in the big leagues before long.

Rollins continues to shuttle back and forth between Tacoma and Seattle whenever the Mariners need a fresh bullpen arm. He has posted a 4/3 K/BB ratio over four scoreless innings with the M’s this season.

Rollins has registered a 4.05 ERA and 1.95 WHIP in eight appearances this season at the major league level. The left-hander has been up and down all year.
