Enrique Wilson and Miguel Cairo both expect to return from minor injuries tomorrow.
Wilson (twisted right ankle) and Cairo (strained right hamstring) were hurt on Saturday.

Yankees manager Joe Torre indicated that Enrique Wilson is the early favorite to start at second base for his team.
“We have some other options, but I think Enrique can do it,” Torre said. Except for some flukey success against Pedro Martinez, Wilson doesn’t bring anything to the table. Miguel Cairo and Homer Bush will both get chances to beat him out for the job. Since the Yankees will eventually upgrade, the winner of the competition won’t be worth more than a few bucks on draft day.
  • BOS 2nd Baseman
Enrique Wilson (strained groin muscle) should return to action tonight against the Rockies.
He ran the bases yesterday, and looked fit to play. Wilson is further along in his recovery from a groin muscle strain than Derek Jeter, and as consequence, will start tonight ahead of the Yankee captain.
  • BOS 2nd Baseman
Enrique Wilson will not start today’s game but he should be fine by Tuesday.
Wilson is bothered by a slight groin strain, but is available as a backup infielder today. He will likely be back at second base on Tuesday.

Enrique Wilson got the start at second base tonight against the Yankees and went 0-for-3 with an error.
''Wilson is playing second because he knows this ballpark, he knows this team,’' manager Dusty Baker said. That’s good to know, because before seeing the quote, we were just assuming Baker felt sorry for the Yankees.
  • BOS 2nd Baseman
Enrique Wilson went 3-for-5 with a home run and a double today against the Dodgers.
Wilson, batting .371, is threatening to beat out Chris Gomez for a job on the Baltimore bench. We don’t really expect it to happen.
  • BOS 2nd Baseman
Cubs sent infielder Enrique Wilson outright to Triple-A Iowa.
Wilson can refuse the assignment, but he’s not going to have a better chance of returning to the majors with another organization.
  • BOS 2nd Baseman
Cubs signed infielder Enrique Wilson to a one-year contract.
Wilson, Neifi Perez and Jose Macias all on the same team. This should be good. Wilson better not have any fantasy value as a backup for Perez at shortstop.
  • BOS 2nd Baseman
Enrique Wilson left today’s game after twisting his right ankle.
Manager Joe Torre said Wilson, the probable regular at second base, could miss a few days.
