Royals signed 1B Greyson Jenista to a minor league contract.
Jenista was released by the Braves back in late March and will head to Double-A Northwest Arkansas in the Royals’ system. The 26-year-old outfielder was the 18th pick of the 2018 MLB Draft out of Wichita State and has yet to reach the majors. He finished last year with a lackluster .642 OPS in 99 games for Triple-A Gwinnett.

Braves selected IF/OF Greyson Jenista from Wichita State with their second round pick in the 2018 MLB Draft.
Jenista is the second player from Wichita State to be drafted on Monday, following third-overall pick Alec Bohm. Jenista has plus power from the left side, and he’s also an above-average runner with a strong throwing arm. The Braves took him as a first baseman, but he could spend time in the outfield with Atlanta.
