Tigers signed OF Herlis Rodriguez to a minor league contract.
Rodriguez hit .249/.314/.398 with 11 homers and 10 stolen bases in 109 games between three different levels of the Phillies’ minor league system in 2017. The 23-year-old outfielder will function as minor league depth for Detroit this season.
