Mariners acquired INF Jake Slaughter from the Cubs in exchange for RHP Tyson Miller.
Slaughter has appeared in 32 games with Triple-A Iowa and hit five homers while stealing 10 bases. He’ll provide organizational depth with an outside chance of joining the Mariners at some point this summer.
