Rockies acquired RHP James Farris and international bonus slot No. 28 from the Cubs for RHP Eddie Butler and international bonus slot No. 74.
Farris turns 25 in April and posted a 2.59 ERA, 13 saves, and 74/17 K/BB ratio over 66 innings between High-A and Double-A last season. He could surface in Colorado’s bullpen pretty soon.
